11th Inversion [Vine/Action]

[It's a bright, beautiful day in the Gardens. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, yet the Vine shows one very soaked Akiha Tohno. In fact, it seems to be raining on Akiha, plastering her white blouse to her torso (sadly she's flat as a board so it's not like it shows anything other than the lines of her camisole) and water drips off her hair. She's also, surprise, glaring at the mirror.]

If anyone needs me, I'll be out about the Gardens today and not at the mansion.


[For anyone looking for Akiha or just crossing paths with her, she's fairy easy to spot with the little black raincloud hanging over her everywhere she goes, constantly showering her with rain.]

Yeah? Well, if it means you're more in control of yourself, isn't that a good thing? Might just be because you're getting older.

It is... but it also makes me worry how bad it would be if I inverted now.

And if you do, you've got people who can try to snap you out of it. If you're that worried, maybe Kris could come up with some kind of spell.

[ Leaving her bleeding and near-death, though, she can take. ]

Yeah, that'd be a bit weird. Don't you have any other full human friends?

I'm not so sure about that. I might be more likely to kill you than before. Definitely more than Kris. [Take that how you want, Katina.]

Wh-hey, just because I can take some punishment doesn't mean you need to test it out.

Anyways, even if Akira does freak out at first a little, she seems like she'd be pretty understanding.

...I don't know about her. She asked me on a date. She probably wouldn't have if she knew.

[ She's digging her own grave. ] It's hard to tell because she doesn't have any real prior experience with that kind of thing. The only way to find out how she'd react would be to tell her, too, which could go badly...

There's no need to come up with a proper term as it's not something that will come to pass unless you really upset me. [pause] In the serious, offensive way. Not the normal way. Just to be clear.

[ She reaches up to run fingers through her own hair. Most people don't usually get to see it plastered down instead of popping up of its own accord. ]

So what is it that upsets you the normal way?

Stupidity, bad manners, ignorance, laziness, ignoring me, not listening to me, having to repeat myself, cats, flirting with someone that's mine, harming something that's mine...

The normal things.

[ Katina ticks off the first, second, third, fifth, sixth, and seventh on her fingers. ]

Well... well the whole entire list doesn't apply to me. I'm not a cat, for one thing.

It also applies to bringing cats around me, acting like a cat or treating me like one.

[ Katina gives Akiha's neck a lick. ]

[Akiha wasn't expecting that. Therefore, Katina is privy to a semi-girlish squeal and her bringing her shoulder up to block any additional licks.]

[ She chuckles as she pulls away, wrapping both arms around Akiha again. ]

What, you said I'm a dog.

That wasn't an invitation for you to lick me. I'm wet enough!
