11th Inversion [Vine/Action]

[It's a bright, beautiful day in the Gardens. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, yet the Vine shows one very soaked Akiha Tohno. In fact, it seems to be raining on Akiha, plastering her white blouse to her torso (sadly she's flat as a board so it's not like it shows anything other than the lines of her camisole) and water drips off her hair. She's also, surprise, glaring at the mirror.]

If anyone needs me, I'll be out about the Gardens today and not at the mansion.


[For anyone looking for Akiha or just crossing paths with her, she's fairy easy to spot with the little black raincloud hanging over her everywhere she goes, constantly showering her with rain.]

[She runs her nails more fully through Katina's hair, working gently through the tangle they catch on.]

Akiha has a lot of tangles to get her fingers caught in, though not as many with Katina's hair pressed down. ]

[She smiles as she continues to work through the tangles.]

[ Damn, she's practically nuzzling Akiha's hand by now. ]

[She shifts her hand to slick back Katina's bangs.]

I'd been worried you'd thrown away the collar when I was returned to Misaki City.

[ It feels weird having her bangs like that. ]

I figured you'd be back sooner or later, and I wouldn't just chuck it even if you were gone for good.

[They were getting in the way of seeing Katina's eyes.]

Am I really that important to you?

[ Heaven forbid. ]

Hmmm... yeah, I guess you are.

[There's a soft smile that makes Akiha seem more like her actual age then. She leans up to press her lips to Katina's in an affectionate kiss.]

[ As fun as Akiha's attitude is, little smiles like that are what make Katina's heart melt. Smiling as well, she kisses back tenderly. ]

[Oh, hey, the cloud dissipates. Akiha doesn't seem to notice, caught in the moment as she was...]

[ Kissing is just a bit of a distraction, especially when they're already too soaked to feel the difference. ]

[Finally, she pulls back.]

I like being important.

[ She rests her forehead against Akiha's. ]

I can tell. Good thing you're important to me.

[Both hands go into Katina's hair, purposefully making it spike up.]

You realize that unless you end up back fighting your war, that you're not allowed to leave me... right?

[ Tried the spike thing when her hair was shorter years and years ago. Didn't like it. She puts a hand over Akiha's, looking curious at her. ]

I realize it, but it's not like I'd want to anyways. I'm not leaving you of my own accord, and if I get back and everything winds up peaceful again... maybe I'll look into inter-dimensional travel a bit more seriously.

Mm. The Branch Families would hate you...

[Akiha sounds inordinately pleased with that fact.]

Is inter-dimensional travel possible for your home reality?

[ A lot of people seem to have problems with Katina. If it makes Akiha happy, though, then it's fine with her. ]

Only just to very similar ones, but technology's always progressing.

[Akiha greatly dislikes the Branch Families. She loves making them upset over things that they have no legitimate influence regarding.]

There is the possibility that time-travel would be needed. We've only managed to send men to the moon.

[ Upsetting idiots for fun and profit. ]

...oh, right, shit. We've actually gotten this technology before we've even explored out of the solar system, though with all the aliens coming to pick fights we might end up needing to pick up the pace.

Enough speculation.

[Akiha finger combs the hair back to normal.]

This just means you must survive your war. I won't accept anything less, even idiotic heroics.

[ It's even starting to stick up again a little bit. ]
