11th Inversion [Vine/Action]

[It's a bright, beautiful day in the Gardens. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, yet the Vine shows one very soaked Akiha Tohno. In fact, it seems to be raining on Akiha, plastering her white blouse to her torso (sadly she's flat as a board so it's not like it shows anything other than the lines of her camisole) and water drips off her hair. She's also, surprise, glaring at the mirror.]

If anyone needs me, I'll be out about the Gardens today and not at the mansion.


[For anyone looking for Akiha or just crossing paths with her, she's fairy easy to spot with the little black raincloud hanging over her everywhere she goes, constantly showering her with rain.]

Can I handle it? I've taken showers as cold as the arctic and hot as the Saharan. If it turns us pink, so be it.

[ Cuddling, snuggling, and holding Akiha tightly for a moment, before letting her go and holding out a hand to help her up. ]

[That very affectionate moment before Akiha took Katina's hand and made it to her feet was very much needed. There was something about this... this idea of sharing a shower that weirdly felt more intimate to her than sex.

She wasn't sure how to handle the feeling, so she kept a hold on Katina's hand. Regardless, she was cold and needed the heat of the shower badly.]

[ Sex is something that plenty of people who barely know each other do with each other. Showering together, though, is more of a couple's activity, and Katina realizes this. Maybe it's not the best idea, then, but she can't resist.

Smiling, she holds Akiha's hand firmly. ]

[Akiha still, STILL, insists that she's not in a relationship. Yes, she's involved with Katina, with Kris, but she was stubborn and refusing to admit that it was more than that. Leaving for a year (to her) and coming back made her realize how important the two women were to her, and how much she missed certain things. And not just the sex.]

We need to go in through the back so we can grab a towel from the laundry room to dry off. No dripping on the carpet.

[ Katina's gotten that much figured out, but is putting off thinking about it too hard until she has to. Just too many complications otherwise. ]

Drying off so we can take a shower. I guess that's fancy living for you.

I don't believe that is ever in the realm of fantasy, much less possibility.

Well jeez, thanks for the vote of confidence. I guess it's closer to horror than anything, though.

[Katina gets a sharp glare and then Akiha jerks on her arm, picking up the pace.]

[ Katina uses that tug to step up beside Akiha and... hold hands with her, if she'll accept it. ]

Do I have to say what I like about you? About how fun it is that you're so refined and restrained because I can poke holes in all of that?

[Akiha accepts Katina's hand.]

[ And it feels incomplete. At least they can hold hands to make up for it. ]

I have a feeling you would've continued if I'd said you had to.

[Akiha keeps her gaze cast toward the ground, trying not to blush. At least the mansion was close.]

I could go on, yes. I'd probably run out of ways to put it into words without sounding stupid though.

[ It's cute when Akiha's shy like this, and Katina almost wants to point it out. ]
