[So much for the necessities. So much for the orchard. So much for all the lovely places that have been created here--

--the only thing visible this morning is a thick coat of snow, white everywhere, broken up only by ominous shadows and lights.

Aren't you lucky to be inside? Inside a plain little stone house, with a sleeping bag and at least one other person. There's a bathroom, but it's not very good at giving you hot water. Everything's cold.

And outside, the wind howls...]

Anna's eyes shoot open.

She was NOT in this style of building yesterday, and the Necessities didn't shift form - just location. That, alone, was cause for alarm.

Waking up on the floor next to two others was cause for more.

I hope neither of you know Chinese, otherwise you would wince at the magnitude of the cluster C-bomb she's dropping.

[She had been awake for some time now, a feeling of dread shaking her from getting any more rest. She'd been in these gardens for about a month, and still no sign of getting home, or finding her friends.

She looks outside, seeing nothing but a torrent of whiteness--it's a blizzard, and Konoka's ill equipped to venture out. She huddles back in her provided bag, and then...

...there isn't a soul around.

And for the first time since she arrived, Konoka felt horribly alone.]

[Except she's not alone. Not entirely. The door opens, and a girl stumbles in. She's shuddering, obviously not dressed for the blizzard as she shuts the door and leans against it. She sinks down, rubbing her upper arms in an attempt to warm up. Shorts and a jacket... Hardly the best thing to wear in a blizzard. But then, she's from an island. This is the first time she's seen snow.]

[At first, Iwasawa doesn't quite notice that this isn't where she went to sleep last night. She's been squatting it up in the Necessities, so she's gotten used to bouncing from place to place rather too quickly. The howling of the wind jars her from her slumber, but she just pulls her guitar closer and mumbles for "five more minutes, Yui," of which you can make what you will.

When she reaches for a bedsheet, only to grasp at air, she notices that something is amiss, at which point she opens her eyes to...]

[Galatea is awake, and has been for quit some time. She's seated against a wall, the one furthest from the human girl, and quiet. In the dim room, her eyes glow a bright, unnerving silver.

She would have left by now, but she is curious if the girl has any answers as to their...current predicament.]

[Well, she is a bit startled, but it doesn't exactly show, partly because Iwasawa doesn't rattle easily, and partly because... well, she's pretty damn tired. Still, she promptly sits up straight and looks the strange woman in the eye, setting her guitar down against the wall behind her.]

Um, good morning... [She scratches the back of her head nervously.] You, um, you didn't happen to do anything to the bed, did you? I was pretty sure I fell asleep in one.

[Little known fact: Nero just clung to whatever was next to her in bed. For cuddles. Pillows, people. In this case, Satsuki. She shook her head as she started to wake up, nuzzling a shoudler--]

[That's strange, she wasn't sleeping with anyone--]

[Nero abruptly sat up in the sleeping bag, which had the rather awkward effect of shifting Satsuki with her. Where were they!? Why is there a corpse in a body bag with her!?]

*Even though Satsuki was a pretty heavy sleeper it's hard to stay awake when her sleeping bag buddy just sat up. Slowly, the so called corpse rubbed her eyes and let out a yawn before she noticed Nero. But once she had Satsuki will somehow get from the sleeping bag to the corner of the room in a split second. She'll just be over there huddled up with her head to the wall.*
