Some of my sobame are very close friends, while others are something more, but to be absolutely clear a sobame is a handmaiden and/or concubine.

A handmaiden is a woman who helps a nobleperson.

A concubine is a wife, but not the primary wife, rather one of many additional wives.

Well, there is something to be said for physical attraction, no? There is something about a beautiful lady that sets my heart afloat, and a man simply does not do the same for me.

It's me, not them. But I do believe that everyone has something lovable to be found by another.

I was just curious. I don't know a lot about love, so...I just know who I love. I never thought about it being because they were boys.

Someone told me the Queen who brought us here only likes girls, too.

I do not know the queen well in any regard so I do not intend to say any definite ills of her, however, why ... I would simply leave matters at there are a few thousand reasons at least that I would much enjoy returning home, and that I wish she would have at least asked before spiriting me away.

But regarding experience and love, well, no one starts experienced in matters of anything, perhaps least of all love. It is such a misty thing; it changes quality and shape, impossible to grasp or describe definitely, yet distinguishable ... and yet one can find themselves well within it before they ever realize it.

Why, she has made lovely accommodations for us, and I am certain there are those who are better off here, but the consent of a maiden is a sacred thing.

And, yes, love is a very had to explain. I have fallen or dived into so many times, and it is never quite the same.
