Scenario 2 [Action/Video]
[The vine catches Alfimi approaching the lake. Next on her "do something I've never done before" agenda is "swimming." She takes a moment, just staring at the water from the shore. She walks a little closer and stares some more. Eventually she moves her leg and puts a toe in the water. She pulls back almost instantly, looking surprised. After several attempts, she's finally comfortable enough and sits down on the edge of the lake and puts both legs in the water.]
This feels... strange.
This feels... strange.
[action]
Strange? What, never been swimming before, kid?

It's quite beautiful, isn't it? [It would be hard to miss the young woman's unfamiliarity with the lake.] Are you from a world without bodies of water like this?
Re: [action]
The land of beginings had them, but I always saw them from above. I never got to see one up-close.
[action]
I see. Did you live in orbit, then, or in space? [She's familiar with space stations and the like.] The water here is quite safe. I've seen people swimming in it before. You could wade in, to acclimate yourself.

You should be careful, then. It can be pretty dangerous if you don't have anybody to teach you swimming.

Well, that's normal water, so you should be fine, miss...

That lake is regular fresh water, though, I've caught fish out of it.
