Scenario 2 [Action/Video]

[The vine catches Alfimi approaching the lake. Next on her "do something I've never done before" agenda is "swimming." She takes a moment, just staring at the water from the shore. She walks a little closer and stares some more. Eventually she moves her leg and puts a toe in the water. She pulls back almost instantly, looking surprised. After several attempts, she's finally comfortable enough and sits down on the edge of the lake and puts both legs in the water.]

This feels... strange.

Alright. Do you have a swimsuit?

... er... I guess you wouldn't if you haven't swam before, huh?

... um... do you know what your size is?

Swim...suit... Oh. Right. I'd... need one of those.

My size? [She looks down at her body.] I don't know.

Ah... alright.

I'll figure something out. I'll be there soon.

*fortunately, Kazumi lives in a floating island over the lake, so after a bit of surveying, she located Alfimi's position and made her way there*

*Kazumi herself is already clad in a Japanese school swimsuit(?!)... and has a satchel slung over her shoulder*

[Alfimi waves to her, standing up.] Hello! ... Oh. I didn't ask your name.

I'm Alfimi! That is a nice outfit. Swim suit. It is very bold. [She doesn't know why its bold, but it seemed appropriate, somehow.]

O-oh, sorry. I'm Kazumi Hagino. Nice to meet you.

Bold? W-well, there's... definitely more bold swimsuits than this. I think.

Anyway, um... since I don't know what size you are... *she holds out the satchel for Alfimi. It's filled with... magic dirt*

Just take some of the magic dirt from that and imagine a swimsuit that you can fit into.

Hmmm? [Alfimi takes some of the dirt, looking at it curiously. She looks up at Kazumi, and then at the dirt again. The dirt forms into a swimsuit identical to Kazumi's, except in Alfimi's size.]

...Wow. It changed.

Pretty cool, huh? You can pretty much make whatever you want with it.

... well, maybe not everything, but it works for a lot of things.

It is amazing. I did not know dirt like this existed. I wonder... I may have to try making other things with it later, if I can find some.

[She looks at her new swimsuit, and then to Kazumi.] I have to take off the clothing I'm wearing and put this on, then?

Yeah, there's more dirt out in the wild areas.

That's right. *though, she sees where this is going, so she quickly adds-* N-not where people can see you, though.

Wild Areas... I understand.

Yes. [She looks around.] Would you be okay waiting here while I go... change?

Yeah, that's fine. I can wait.

Thank you. [Alfimi leaves, returning a few minutes later, wearing the swimsuit. I would not be surprised if there was fanart of this, somewhere.]

It fits just right. So, with this, I am good to go in the water?

Right. I should check to make sure it's not too deep.

*she pokes a foot into the water* I-it's a little cold...

*after a bit, she'll carefully lower herself into the water*

[Alfimi follows Kazumi into the water, and also lowers herself in.] It feels... different. [She stretches a leg out, testing the feel of it moving through the water.]

Yeah, but it's not bad, right?

No, it feels nice. A little cold, but... there is something comforting about it.
