Scenario 2 [Action/Video]

[The vine catches Alfimi approaching the lake. Next on her "do something I've never done before" agenda is "swimming." She takes a moment, just staring at the water from the shore. She walks a little closer and stares some more. Eventually she moves her leg and puts a toe in the water. She pulls back almost instantly, looking surprised. After several attempts, she's finally comfortable enough and sits down on the edge of the lake and puts both legs in the water.]

This feels... strange.

So how's it different, then? [This time there's some challenge in her voice, mostly because she wants to stave off any "LOL how ignorant are you?" from Alfimi. Since Alfimi would totally do that.]

It is shaped more like a person. It flies. And is much sturdier. And much stronger. And is alive. [Sort of.]

So... um, it's like a Transformer? Is it a robot? [That: pretty cool.]

It does not transform or combine, [She has seen the SRX. Is that what she's talking about?] but I have heard the word 'robot' used before. Perhaps that is close to the mark.

I didn't need to. I didn't need to eat or bathe. Everything was taken care of. I was part of the vessel.

It wasn't until I arrived that I found myself needing to even eat food.

[Alfimi stares at the water for a bit. Then she submerges her head and tries to look around underwater, but quickly changes her mind, coming back up and coughing.]

[OH GOD OH GOD ALFIMI IS DROWNING!!!] Are you okay?!

[She looks around frantically for an adult]

[Cough, cough.] ...Yes. I am... [cough] fine.

I did not realize how unpleasant it would be when the water went in my mouth.

[ffffuuu what does she do now?! She glances around again for something resembling an adult, slipping a hand into the crook of Alfimi's elbow.]

Um... we gotta get some towels... so you can dry off.
