[Well, this is... weird. Having a head that isn't squishy and skull-shaped and covered in hair is bad enough, but the light source inside feels strangely warm. Possibly the heat from the pumpkin hot chocolate is sticking around, which is at least convenient with the cooling weather. Still, annoying.

[But Jessica isn't one to let the Gardens' embarrassing cosmetic bullshit get in her way, so she's resolutely keeping to her routine. It has to wear off eventually, right?

[(Definitely lodging a complaint with the management of the cafe, though.)]

I've not tried anything at the cafe. The idea of robots making my food doesn't sit well with me.

They're actually pretty good. I think they're working from recipes, so it's not too far from, say, fast food.

(And they're cute.)

Come to think of it, I should see if I can find out where they're getting their recipes.

[Lambda, likewise, is going about her business. Not only is she doing one of her sweeps-to-check-for-changes, but Hoppip is skipping along at her heels and enjoying the walk today. So, it's not that much of a surprise when she happens to pass by Jessica by chance.]

[Jessica's head, however, is. Lambda doesn't say anything, but she doesn't have a problem transparently staring at her, either.]

[Nope, not helping much at all.]
