What I do there is...my obligation, it's a world I understand and therefore a world I can better work to protect people in. I can try here, and have, but it's not the same here as being a police officer there.

Maybe you can help people in another way? Take up cooking for people who can't do it themselves or something.

Well, you don't have to cook, either. [She waves a hand.] But seriously, if you want to look out for people so badly, just doing little things for them is fine.

Does it really have to be something special or important? It still makes people happy to know someone will help them even when they don't have to.
