[action/video]
[Now that the automaton invasion has been mostly taken care of at the fortress, Jessica's out to catch up with people. She's been around, Bulbasaur in tow, and has settled down for lunch near the ferris wheel. The bulbasaur is occasionally tugging her toward the ride, occasionally walking toward it and looking back at her expectantly. Jessica doesn't move from her seat on a rock.]
I assure you, there is no chance whatsoever that I'm getting on that with anyone, ever. Well, other than physical threats. Sorry.
[She finishes her meal and turns on the vine.]
Hey, is it just me, or has our population kind of... dropped recently?

Re: [Action]
It's more a, uh, medical issue. You're gonna have to find someone else if you want to try it out. I stay on the ground.

Re: [Action]
You can always open your own mirror.

Re: [Action]
Wait... so are people disappearing? [With plans to ride the contraption on-hold for right this second, Zenobia switches back to Jessica's original point.] Is that what you meant?
Re: [Action]
I'm missing a few people. [A bit of sadness drifts into her voice, though her face remains the same.]
Re: [Action]
[Zenobia looks at her, concerned.] Is there anything I can do to help you?
Re: [Action]
[She walls up again, immediately suspicious about the concern.] I doubt it. I don't know if I'd want to bring them back. Most of them, anyway.
Re: [Action]
Hmmm... I guess I can see your point. That is, if they've really returned to where they came from. What if they're somewhere else, completely?
Re: [Action]
I don't even want to think about that possibility. Though one girl I talked to said she went back home for a while, so that seems the most likely outcome.
Re: [Action]
That's comforting, at least. [Well, for most people. Would I end up trapped in the mirror again?] Wow, here and back and then here again. That's some trip.
Re: [Action]
I can't say I'd mind being back home. [Then, after thinking it through a bit more:] Completely, anyway. She seemed pretty happy to be here, so I guess it sucks that she's gone back again.

Re: [Action]
[Zenobia what are you smiling about that is unnerving.]

[She leads Zenobia and a disappointed Bulbasaur toward the arcade, stopping every once in a while to make sure everyone's still following.]

Re: [Action]
...normally you're supposed to play them, but if you're down with just watching, I guess that works, too.
