The Heart Opens...

Eh?

[From her unintentional makeshift bed of roses, one Konoka Konoe stirs. Looking at this strangely bright place, Konoka blinks almost owlishly before recognizing that she isn't where she thought she was.]

 Where... am I?

...Secchan?

[There was a vine poking down nearby, looking at her confusion.

A bee lands on her nose. Being a friend to all living things, Konoka makes no sudden movements and just stares.]

Well um, you wouldn't happen to know where I am, would you?

[She's not expecting the bee to answer, but it doesn't hurt to try. She just got out of a magic world after all.]

[small smile despite herself] Good to meet you too. Wish it didn't have to be after being kidnapped and...[she looks around] dropped in some weird garden but I guess we can't be picky huh?

[A joke. Sorta.] By any chance do you know anything about this 'Queen of Hearts?'

Well, there are worse ways to be kidnapped.

Not a thing, I'm afraid. She seems kinda loopy, though, from the short message I got from her.

[Winry gave a small snort at that] Yea she does, but if she's able to organize all of this she's got to be either really smart or really rich. Or both.

[And well there are a lot of other things. Like the vines, and the animals that acted off, but Winry was taking things one thing at a time.]

[She sits down a little bit away from Konoka so she isn't hovering over her]

So hey. I know we don't really know each other, so I understand if you're a little wary, but it seems a lot of us have been slumped in this situation together and I think the only way out of it will be through working together.

[Konoka's got no qualms working with others. She just needs to figure out how]

I'm not sure where we are and what we need, but there's all kinds of people around, so I'm sure working together will help us out a lot more.

[She definitely hadn't expected such an eager response, but perhaps that was because Winry was projecting too much of herself. It had taken a while for her to finally admit she should talk to another of the people dragged here for help. Though perhaps that had more to do with an issue of pride than trust]

[She nods]

Can't say I know where we are either but I guess finding a safe place to stay would be top priority. The animals seem friendly so far [oddly friendly] but we can't be sure that'll always be the case.
