⋙ Mission III
[ - ACTION - ]
[Being a battle robot from a war/meteor/alien-torn future Earth, Lamia never has a chance to experience certain common things most would take for granted: such as trees. And squirrels. Running into animals wasn't very commonplace in THE FUTURE, especially for one who spends all her time at military bases in-between blowing things up.
...And, no, certain talking magical subterranean cats didn't count as normal animals.
So, curiosity piqued, Lamia has been trying to familiarize herself with and learn about the nature that was so alien to her but once totally normal to Earth. This begins with idly sitting by and watching the animals, but she eventually gets up to attempt to pet them; of course, being jittery forest creatures, they scurry away before she can touch them. After this happens two or three times, she sighs, crosses her arms, and leans against a tree--accidentally activating the Vine in the process.]
[ - VOICE - ]
Animals are known to have senses and instincts superior to a human's. I wonder if they can tell?
[After, she'll be going back to trying to inspect the squirrels, cats, and other ordinary animals. Feel free to comment via voice or action. Also note: Lamia's voice is identical to Signum's (
brustriese), so castmates or anyone familiar enough to recognize Signum's voice feel free to mistake them.]

(I never thought I'd meet someone with more energy than Exie. I can't tell her the truth, otherwise who knows how she will react to having come close to touching me? Just because Kyosuke, Exie, and the others accepted me doesn't mean everyone will. In my world, a human would be disgusted and furious at the idea of mistaking one of me for a real person...)
You...shouldn't touch me. That's all. Not only that, but I most definitely cannot sing.

You sound just like the little family of chipmunks I once knew who thought they couldn't sing either! Well, they learned to find their voices, and now they have a great career touring Andalasia and singing about hula hoops! I'm not so sure why hula hoops, but the point is that everyone has that spirit of music inside of them! All you need to do is believe in yourself!

At least she's getting better at filtering Giselle's point out from all the things she says.]
No. Please. Really. You can do my share of the singing for me.

All right, then! Goodness, I do hope I am up to the challenge! You look like someone who would sing an awful lot -- in a good way, of course! Here we go!
♪ I'll never stop singing my song! I'll never give in!
No, I'll never stop singing my song! I'll never say die!
I've gotta fight, though the road may be long,
But the music I sing makes me strong!
And I'll never stop singing my song! ♫

Won't the animals be scared away by the singing?

See? Music is the language through which all creatures communicate! It connects our hearts and our souls as one!
