Snowstorm [Action, locked to Signum]

[Flandre wakes up first. She doesn't like change on the best of days, and this is already a plenty complicated enough place for her to have to deal with. Which is why she is in the corner of the unlit room, knees up against her chest, peering out at the other unconscious person.]

[Cold, she can handle. She's pretty cold already, being a vampire and all. But what's this 'roommate' thing supposed to be about?]

[Signum wakes up before she makes a move, continuing to breathe slowly and opening her eyes to slits. Unfamiliar room, cold, one other person present - a peeved-looking young girl.]

[Vaguely recognizing the little girl, Signum figures there's no immediate danger and sits up, alert, looking around their little "shelter" and noting the blowing snow outside.]

She put us in a room for the storm. How...thoughtful of her.

It's coming down out there, isn't it? I wonder if the Queen was talking about the weather getting out of hand earlier...

[Signum doesn't really know how to deal with kids in bad moods. She has like three professional surrogate mothers for friends, they usually take care of this kind of thing.]

Cold usually isn't a problem for me. Human or not, I am a mage, and I've dealt with worse.

[She touches the sword-shaped pendant she wears on a necklace, which flashes and produces a very small flame by way of emphasis.]

You stay inside and keep warm as you need to; I should go out and investigate.

I don't think I could keep warm here even if I wanted to. It's not a problem, though - even if it was this cold for ten years, I wouldn't die.
