[When the video comes into focus, it's showing a panicked girl. Not that anyone would be able to tell otherwise, due to her young age and less-than-mature figure. It's Sora, and she's pulled on her usual jacket and her crown necklace over the shift--far too worried to change completely.]

Wh-Where am I!? Where are my Islands!? Has anyone seen a Riku or a Kairi!?

[She's gripping at her hair, pulling at the spikes slightly. She looks around at the garden slightly, still obviously confused and distraught. This isn't her home, or anywhere near to what it should be. She's never seen any place like this! And considering that she just watched and fought as her home fell apart around her, she's not too sure about what to do.]

Please... Is there anything anyone can tell me!?

[she nods in response to both questions. She's still scared, but...at the same time, it's a relief to get it all out.]

Your memories of the person you care for the most. They gave me a...a face. A self. I'm grateful for that.

[This really does make her head hurt. Nothing makes sense about this. Not in the least.]

[for once in her life, she actually looks embarrassed. She stands there for a moment, thinking. Of course Sora wouldn't understand. How could she expect her to?]

[But that means...leave her in the dark, or tell the whole story. Xion sits down abruptly, hugging her knees. She suddenly misses Riku and Axel...they always seemed to know what to do.]

...I'm sorry. I'm making this worse.

Hey, it's not your fault!

[She plops down next to Xion, resting a hand on her shoulder. Man, this is her fault...]

It's just... A lot to take in.

[the touch is unexpected, and...comforting. She looks up after a moment, searching the other girl's face.]

Y-yeah...

[She hasn't disappeared, nothing out of the ordinary has happened. Maybe, just maybe...]

I didn't mean to...say it all at once, it's just...[she looks down again.] I didn't stop to think what it would be like for you. I-I'll...I'll explain whatever I can.

Anything'll help. Just take your time, okay?

[she takes a deep breath, sorting through the faint afterimages of memories in her mind. Separated from Riku and Kairi. The Islands falling apart. Yes--...this was pretty bad. Sora's whole journey had been forgotten.]

The darkness...fell. And now you're on another world. [she looks up again.] It's safe here, as far as I can tell. I haven't seen any Heartless...

[Sora nods a bit.]

...I got that I'm on another world. But Heartless... What're those?

[mnementomori]

They're...well, they're creatures. [How did others describe them?] Creatures of darkness. And the Keyblade is the only way to defeat them for good.

...You mean those things that attacked the Island?

[mnementomori]

[she starts to nod, then realizes that maybe letting on everything she knows might be kind of...unsettling, to say the least. Best to play it safe.]

What did they look like?

...They were black, with claws and antennae and weird, glowing eyes.

[mnementomori]

That's them. Though there are different kinds.

[she tilts her head, leaning forward a bit, her arms still wrapped around her knees.]

...did you fight them?

Yeah. At first, my wooden sword did nothing. But then...

[She summons the Keyblade, nodding to it.]

...I got this, and suddenly, they were easy.

It must've been scary.

[she still has echoes of that dark night, far in the back of her mind. The feel of the Keyblade in her hands. Kairi turning to look at her, eyes vacant--no. These thoughts belong to Sora alone. It's just not fair...]

[she squeezes her eyes shut for a moment. This is all so surreal; she feels lightheaded, like she's dreaming. Sora is really here. There has to be a way to set things right.]

What else...do you want to know?

It was, especially when everything was falling apart. But... I had to be brave. So I could find Riku and Kairi.

[mnementomori]

You'll find them. [she makes an attempt at a reassuring smile, though it wavers a bit. Riku should've been there when Sora woke up...did something happen to him? Was it that the Queen kidnapped Sora before the memory transfer was complete? What happened to Roxas? And Axel...Would Riku even be able to find them here, if only girls were allowed?]

[she tries to shove back all the questions swirling around in her mind, and concentrate.]

I've been here...for about two weeks now. I can tell you what I know about this place...but no one's figured out how to leave yet.

W-We can't leave!?

[And that has her deflating again. She can't go find Kairi and Riku!? She frowns, then sighs a bit.]

...Tell me what you know. Anything might be helpful.

Well, the usual ways don't work--...uhm. [Sora wouldn't know what the usual ways were, would she?] I mean, I've traveled to different worlds before, but the way I usually use...doesn't let me leave here. I can go to different places in the Gardens, though.

[what else was important?] Ah--...the rabbits eat your clothes. So be careful. And the cats can take you places if you ask. There's food on trees and things...and houses to sleep in. Everything's free.

The person who brought us here: the "Queen of Hearts", she's...well, I've never seen her, but some people have. She and the people working for her--they won't explain anything. I think we have to figure it out for ourselves.

[This all earns a distinctly childish pout.]

Man... This really doesn't sound like much fun...

[At least everything's free, though. There's that.]

...Thanks anyway. I guess we'll just have to see how everything goes.
