[From the looks of things, Nue isn't dressed in her usual dark colors today. Instead, she's wearing the red and white uniform of a Hakurei shrine maiden, meaning she must have finally taken Reimu up on the punishment she had ordered a while back. The fact that the image's backdrop is the Hakurei shrine and she has a broom in hand makes this pretty obvious, too.]

[That isn't what she wants to talk about, though. She just got bored with sweeping, and there's been something else on her mind, too.]

So... Do you think that Pirate Queen is actually going to keep her word? [Her wings flick back and forth like tails behind her, the movement seeming somehow irritable. Apparently, she's incensed just thinking about it.] It's not like I gave her something I can't just make more of, but still. I'm going to be mad if she doesn't come back like she said she would.

[The truth is, Nue is just impatient. It's been a week and a half, maybe, and she's already getting antsy. But she asked for something she hopes will cheer Sanae up, so she's anxious to get her hands on it now.]

[Alternately, you could come see her sweeping at the shrine in person. Or you could catch her around the fortress later in the day; she still isn't living at the shrine 24/7 now, so she has to go back there if she wants to change out of those stupid miko robes after she's done with her stupid chores.]

Geeze, again!? Ugh... I guess I should have seen it coming, but really? Really? At least the bored old youkai in Gensokyo come up with new stuff to make trouble with every now and again.

Maybe they figured they'd given this trick a long enough break. [She shrugs. She doesn't especially want to get into the head of someone who would force people to kiss like this, to be honest.] Anyway, I don't like it either, but at least it's just us this time. That's not so bad, right?

Well if she wants a kiss, I'll give her a kiss! C'mere, Nue! -Sanae grabs for the other girl's collar, dragging her in close.-

Wh— Hey, hold on!

[She laughs, though, and braces her hands against Sanae's shoulders when she's dragged in, smiling when she's sure of her footing.]

-Good. Because Sanae planted one on Nue that was deep, passionate, and probably fueled by frustration, but not just at the plant alone. There was something else there. Something subtle and buried underneath the obvious.-

[Nue isn't good at subtle, so it's a good thing that Sanae's kiss, for the most part, isn't. When her mood becomes apparent, Nue's arms slide around the back of her neck. If that's how she wants it to be, she doesn't mind giving that passion right back.]

-Truth be told, though it was probably not the absent minded Queen's intention... they probably needed this. Something to ignite the fire in their relationship after all that trouble. Sanae deepened the kiss, letting out a soft sound. She began to step back, the barrier obviously no longer there, wanting to bring Nue with her into her room.-

[Nue moved with her. They were still kissing, and with Reimu being the way she was, it would be better for them to be somewhere other than out in the open... Or, at least, that would have been what went through her head if she were actually thinking about that kind of thing now. As things were, she was more concerned with the fact that Sanae wasn't stopping and that she didn't want to, either. She sighed out a faint noise of her own.]

-Indeed she wasn't. All of her pent up nerves were coming loose in that kiss. Once inside the room, the pulling wasn't done. Sanae lowered as she reached the futon, wanting to bring Nue with her.-

[Again, Nue allows herself to be pulled. On top of the futon, she crawls close, setting one of her hands on Sanae's waist and not doing anything to avoid the places where their bodies press together from her leaning. Almost idly, she wonders how far Sanae intends to take this. Maybe she'll ask if she doesn't stop soon, but for now, she's perfectly happy to keep kissing her. Obviously.]

-In all honesty... she didn't know. She wasn't thinking. She was just letting instincts and base desires take over. Hormones and emotional frustration mixing together into a combustible element. If she knew what she was doing, she'd probably stop, but the part of her mind concerned with her image as a maiden, or even just as a woman, was pushed aside. She just... wanted. And was taking.-

[Apparently so. It's different than that time Sanae was drunk on fairydust, and much, much more enjoyable. But even so, while Nue can't say she dislikes this... She feels like she should ask before it escalates too far. She pulls back enough to break the kiss, but only that far, and it doesn't seem that she's about to go anywhere. Her body is still close as she leans her forehead against Sanae's.]

Where are we going with this, Sanae?

[If she wants to keep going, Nue won't say no. But, all things considered... She'd just like to make sure they were on the same page first.]

-It was enough to bring Sanae down, somewhat, back to earth and to a somewhat more reasonable state of mind.-

I... I don't know. I just got into it and didn't wanna stop... I still don't... Do you think this is okay? Are we ready for this?

If you really want to and aren't going to regret it, it's fine. If Reimu gets mad at us for "defiling her shrine," though, it's your responsibility.

[Her tone is plainly teasing when she says that last bit. She gives Sanae another kiss, then, the action brief but definitely affectionate.]

-Sanae nodded, trying to collect her thoughts.-

I... I really do want this, I think. That I should stop worrying and just be happy. With you.

[...Oh. That reply is met with a bright smile.]

...Okay. I want that, too.

[Which Nue promptly decides to prove by pouncing. The action is more playful than aggressive, though, even when she kisses her.]

—Hey, can I ask you something first?

-This definitely takes Sanae a bit more by surprise than just the pounce. She was pretty ready to finally get it on with her girlfriend, after all.-

Um... sure?

Will you move out of here with me?

[What are you talking about, this is the best time for this question.]

-She looked mildly surprised before. Now she was REALLY surprised.-

W-wait, what? You mean... move in together? In our own place?

Yeah. I don't want to be away from you any longer.

[She takes one of Sanae's hands in hers as she says so, lacing their fingers together.]

-Maybe it was silly to become so emotional at what was such a small thing in reality. After all, they'd been living together since they arrived. But that was under someone else's roof. This... was different. Beyond just finally sharing her virginity with Nue, she was also about to live with her, independently, and she couldn't help tearing up a bit as she smiled.

All of the sudden, everything felt right and wonderful. And she really did belong with this girl. The thoughts of a youkai and a miko together, of two women, of all those taboos lingering in her mind for the time they'd been together... they were finally melting away.-

Yes... Of course... I'll do it!

...Alright. Alright, good. I'm really glad. [She hadn't realized just how nervous she had been about asking that question until Sanae answered it. She doesn't tear up, but she does smile like she's just been given some amazing news. The relief she feels earns Sanae another short kiss.] Then we'll move out of here right away.

[Or... Well, first thing after they finish up what they're doing now. What they have to bring, whether they make a place of their own or just go back to the fortress instead... That can wait until later. Nue kisses her another time, and this time it's longer, deeper. She doesn't have any intention of pulling away again.]

-Nor did Sanae. And while she had no clue what she was doing, the love she felt in that moment was too strong to ignore. She wanted Nue, to be with her, wholly and fully. Mind, soul... and of course her body...-
