[A certain someone had returned home, looking a little disoriented and a bit confused. After experiencing her first death in the gardens, she had admittedly stayed away for a short while, still a bit confused about the whole thing. That and she had to sort out her own feelings on certain things. Hopefully Akiha wouldn't mind too much that she was gone for a couple of days?

Whatever it was, she walked into the front door a little dirty but nothing worse than that. Maybe she could sneak in without being noticed.]

...did I miss something? I feel like something important happened and I wasn't there for it. Or maybe I was...

I don't really know.

[She tilts her head, as if trying to recall something, probably something she had attempted to forget, but lingered there with a sense of detachment. Suddenly, excitement pops back into her eyes.]

Aside from that, I'm feeling like something big! A big cake...the biggest one here. How do I get someone to make that?

[It's impossible to get into the mansion through the front door without Akiha noticing. Especially since she's been sitting on the steps... waiting... when she had nothing else to do. And she really didn't.

She'd had Kris taken from her, literally ripped out of her bed, unable to find her. Katina wasn't a factor anymore (as much as it pained Akiha deeply), so... it was just Lambda and the cyborg really didn't help much.

Akiha almost looked like she was napping on the stairs if not for her hair being vermilion in color, laying on the steps as she sat with her head bowed and eyes closed. She was resting, but not napping. She was so very, very lost and it was hard to not just become the monster she could be and just close everything off. With everything she lost, would it really matter if she ended up in the labyrinth?

No, she wasn't napping... she was just focusing internally.]

[When she saw Akiha, Kris suddenly hopped up on her tip toes. Especially when she was just sitting there looking like she was sleeping.

...but Kris needed to go on by her to get upstairs.

To start with, she quietly edged her way up to Akiha, waiting to see if there was any reaction.]

[Hidden partially by her bangs, Akiha opened her eyes a fraction. It might not even be noticeable, since nothing else moved.

That was, until Kris actually tries to pass her. At that moment, with all her speed, she snatched the magician up, pulling her into her lap, holding her tight enough against her chest that it probably hurt the blonde.]

[She was caught completely by surprise and let out a gasp. But Kris didn't fight it, even with the pain. She didn't mind it...

...and she didn't mind the attention she was getting right now.]

[Arms shifted so one hand, bandaged - they both were bandaged, gripped Kris' hair and Akiha buried her face in the crook of the magician's neck. It was then the fact that Akiha was shaking could be felt and a wetness dripped onto Kris' neck as a few tears slipped free and ran down the half-demon's face.]
