Well, yeah, given that I was almost immediately plunged into a life-threatening situation involving murderplants, I think it was justifiable.

Apparently, some time before I got here, people were given roses to take care of. Anything that got neglected turned into some kind of monster that tried to drink blood using thorns.

Her Majesty's sole concession to defense was making them sing love songs so we'd know they were coming.

You can see why I wanted to be somewhere safe, especially since I'm a squishy weakling.

Well, um, I've been working on it... [For a particular definition of "work," anyway. She's done some very basic sparring! A little! A while back!]

I just feel like there's other stuff I could do, especially since there's already all these superhero types around. I'll just stay in the back and try to keep civilization up, and take care of the other, uh, noncombatants.
