And in the absence of more gatherings along the lines of the beach party that happened a while back, she has had to determine the best way to initiate such contact herself. Now, after so much pondering, what has she decided on?]

[Behind her visor, Lambda blinks, not that Urd can see. She glances at the hand on her shoulder, then back to her face.]

...? "What love is"?

[Actually, she's equally puzzled by just about...all of that reply, but one question at a time.]

Exactly. Love is much deeper then some dictionary can explain. As the Self proclaimed Goddess of love, it is my duty to teach you.

We shall start with something simple. [Urd steps back a bit the waves her hand before herself, as if presenting her own body] Tell me, what do you feel when you look at me right now.

[She looks as Urd gestures to herself. She spends a moment examining her, and then—]

[She sounds more confused than anything, like the idea that she is supposed to feel anything looking at another person's body is completely perplexing to her.]

No. [She hesitates for a moment here, recalling a conversation she had with Akiha quite some time ago, when Akiha was not herself. She makes the connection a little more quickly than she might have otherwise.] I do not experience sexual desires or attraction.

Well, right there we have a problem. Love is deeply connected to that. It's not just that, but it is a big part of it. I'll have to think of something to let you experience that.

Now, tell me, is there anyone you would give your life for to protect them?

[Actually, there are a few people she would likely fight to the death to protect, but Akiha is the most important to her.]

I see. And why do you want to protect her that much?

[The pause while Lambda mulls this over is pretty significant.]

Akiha-sama is...important. She has...never treated me in a manner detrimental to my physical or mental well-being and has been tolerant of my databanks' lack of information regarding social etiquette and similar topics. Additionally, she has provided housing and other necessities to me for the majority of the time that has elapsed since my arrival and has supplied much of the data that has been added to my database.

And when you think about Akiha, what do you feel deep in your chest, deep in your heart?

[Her chest? She lifts a hand up and touches her fingers to it. This question is more difficult than the first. It's not like she can really identify any of the emotions she feels.]

It is...calm. [Content, but she doesn't know to say that.]

[Urd smiled and put her hand on her own chest.]

That feeling, that is love.

It is part of what love is. That warming, calm feeling when you think of someone you deeply care about.

[She frowns a little, her brow knitting slightly behind her visor.]

In some ways you do. It doesn't sound like it's the lust kind of love, more lie the emotional, you care for her deeply, kind of love.

Now we just just to move you towards sexual side of it.

[More like Lambda loves Akiha like a dog loves its owner, but whatever. She tilts her head a little as Urd brings up sexuality again.]

Good. Now, that armor of yours, it can be removed yes? Because if not, the sex might be kinda... difficult.

Maybe later. For now, just the helmet will suffice. I would like to know how you look without all that battle armor, but that can wait..

[Urd looks her over for a second]

Though I must say that you wear it very well.

...Thank you. [She thinks? This is all so confusing.]

[Either way, she does as told. Normally the armor goes on and off all at once, but bits and pieces can be removed individually in case a situation where such is necessary ever arises. She removes her visor.]

[Urd gets a little closer and looks as her face.]

You are quite beautiful. The eyes are very striking. Why do you hid your face so?

So you don't normally go out in full battle gear expecting some sort of dinosaur to try and eat you.
