Une [Video]

Well, well, well, what have I found here... [France leans in close and peers at the vine.] It seems I have been abducted by some truly horrible people, non? How should I deal with such a thing?

[Taps on the mirror.] Le chaton a-t-il indiqué la vérité? Can you lovely mademoiselles hear me? Ah, someone as wonderful as moi really cannot be held for too long, I am a busy woman.

... Angleterre? This seems like something you would enjoy but if you wanted my company so badly you could have just called. Honestly.

Oh. 'kay.

And I'm the goddamn Batman.

Dude, I think the Dark Knight would be offended if you called him a little story. But sure, he's from Gotham.

—but that's really not the point right now!

Is this a superhero thing? Do your powers embody the spirit of France?

I know— I mean, I've seen on the news, this girl who flies into space like a speeding bullet, and knocks out satellites. In her spare time. Without any equipment. She just breathes in space! [ ] So there's about a 5% chance you're not making this up.

I thiiiink they made a cartoon of Supergirl. You know, those silly little comic strips they put in newspapers? That kinda thing.

Can you make wine and baguettes spontaneously appear? Because then I might buy it.

Mais oui.

Well, is there anything out of the ordinary you can do? 'cause I'm in a place where I'd like to think I'm sane enough not to believe everything I'm told without at least a little proof.

Oh, no, no, I get it. You shouldn't be expected to have to prove yourself to every sceptical stranger. I mean, apart from the whole claiming to be France thingamajig, you've been charming.

The picture of perfect mental health, really!

I think it's more of a Stephanie-Brown-Doesn't-Know-When-To-Shut-Her-Mouth thing than a general human thing. Well, it probably is a human thing, but I just so happen to take it to extremes.

If you say you're France, then I guess you are! It's not hurting anyone, and I don't really have any room to judge. I promise I won't ask any more stupid questions. —oh, except for this one. Can I ask one more?

Also: asking if I can ask a question doesn't count as me asking that question.

Was Joan of Arc totally awesome?

[identity profile] gravityfists.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 11:59 am (UTC)(link)
Oh— and if you ever decide to prove how awesome you are at cooking, lemme know. Living off fish and fruit is getting old, fast.

You say that like de rien is part of my vocabulary. You sound happy enough when you say it, but...
