-The vine finds our winged girl in the kitchens at her residence near the Arena. She's got with her a whole counter full of ingredients.-

You know, it's come to my attention that a lot of people here in the Gardens don't actually know how to cook. I think I'm going to do my part to help with that! Today, I want to teach everyone how to make a speciality of mine, one of the first dishes I ever learned to prepare. It's pretty easy, too! It's called potato salad!

-INSERT FAIRLY SIMPLE RECIPE HERE. She demonstrates every last step as well, happily singing to herself inbetween steps. Seriously, it's like she's out of a disney movie. If disney princesses wore sailor suits.-

[After some time- Laura is slightly distractible- she shows at the arena, pestering one of the bears]

-Dizzy spots the commotion from the kitchen window, leaning out.-

I don't think the bears want to help cook.

They shouldn't be hanging around here, then!

[Still, she ceases her harassment and trots to the window.] What's your name, anyway?

My name is Dizzy. What's yours?

[almost_adopted]

That's a dumb name. It makes you sound stupid.

Um... I'm Laura.

[And, despite having just insulted her a few seconds ago:] Where's the door in?

[imperial_ray]

-And despite the question, Dizzy focuses on the insult, looking visibly confused and a tad hurt.-

Do you... do you really think that?

[almost_adopted]

[...you're not supposed to suffer, you're supposed to get annoyed!]

Well... it's not your fault. Sometimes people get stupid names.

You could be Diz or Zee. Then you'd have a cool name!

Well, I'm told it was an informal version of Diza...

That's a lot better name. It sounds pretty.

Mm... Be that as it may, I think I prefer Dizzy. It's... important to me. -It's what her 'grandparents' called her, after all.-

I guess that's okay.

[She spots a door and heads around to join Dizzy in the kitchen.]

Do we need aprons?

[PLEEZ PLEEEEEEEZ APRONS!!!]

Oh definitely. We'll be working with flour and sauces, after all. Here, I've one the right size for you, I think!

[almost_adopted]

[Her face lights up, and she spends a moment revelling in having a cute apron on, including a requisite twirl.]

So what comes first?

First we need to make the dough for the crust. If you can clear a space on the counter, I'll get the ingredients!

[almost_adopted]

We're gonna make the crust?! [SORCERY!]

[She looks at the counter for a moment, then boosts herself onto it and pushes things haphazardly off to one side. There, problem solved!]

-... Not what she'd do, but eh. She gathers up the ingredients and sets them up, detailing what they are and what they're used for as she goes along.-

[Dizzy has now achieved a modicum of respect from Laura, solely for her mindblowing witchcraft in MAKING PIZZA HAPPEN! Once she starts getting into the process, the brattitude lessens, all her concentration going into doing things properly.]

-Cooking is pretty much magic.-

Well, now that we've got that done, it's time to add the sauce! What sort of sauce do you like?

It's s'posed to be tomato sauce.

But it doesn't have to be, if you feel like trying something else.
