You know, it's come to my attention that a lot of people here in the Gardens don't actually know how to cook. I think I'm going to do my part to help with that! Today, I want to teach everyone how to make a speciality of mine, one of the first dishes I ever learned to prepare. It's pretty easy, too! It's called potato salad!

-INSERT FAIRLY SIMPLE RECIPE HERE. She demonstrates every last step as well, happily singing to herself inbetween steps. Seriously, it's like she's out of a disney movie. If disney princesses wore sailor suits.-

Well, now that we've got that done, it's time to add the sauce! What sort of sauce do you like?

It's s'posed to be tomato sauce.

But it doesn't have to be, if you feel like trying something else.

-She can't help giggling.- Pizza is a very diverse dish. Italians make all sorts of things into it. Salads, antipasto, entrees, and yes desserts.

What's an antipasta?

It's an appetizer! It's food eaten before the meal and is usually shared amongst the family.

Why don't they just call it an appetizer, then? [GAWD, you dumb Italians!]

Well, it's a little different, culturally...

Anyways, let's make a dessert pizza.

It's still weird.

Yeah! [Distraction accomplished!]

In that case, we'll need to make a glaze of sugar for the dough first before we put the chocolate on, to keep the dough from becoming too soggy as it bakes.

How d'you do that? [This is an eager pupil]

We melt it in a bit of butter, which when it cools will thicken and keep the chocolate from wetting down the dough.
