(no subject)

[ There's a new arrival by the telltale dress. She doesn't seem to have any qualms with getting it dirty, as there seems to be a bit of mental give-and-take. You take the girl from her home, give her a while to get over the initial shock... and she'll do whatever she wants with that beautiful gown you gave her. Her appreciation for finery is lacking, but, then again, no one is around to scold her for it...

... that she knows of, as of yet.

She hums. It's a lovely little tune most likely from a children's television show. Her kimono and apron and broom and a box are all folded up nicely on top of one another as she continues to move down the line of looking through the grassy blooms. Occasionally she'll pick something out from it, a certain flower or odd looking greenery-- and set it on top of the box.

A good eye can pick up something in common these plants have. ]

I really shouldn't waste much time... but I rarely get to pick myself.

The best answer we have for why any of us are here has to do with the Queen's apparent distaste of men and that she believes we're all prime candidates to promote her all-female Utopian society focused on romance.

[Such disdain dripping on that final word.]

This one was once a goddess, so a semi-trusted source claims.

[Akiha draws close to look at the flowers and herbs Kohaku picked.]

I refuse to give in to her wishes, though there are several here that already have. And many that are crude and vulgar that have no idea how to speak to a lady. Be wary of them, though I know you will not be swayed.

Yes... As always... [such a weighted phrase]

I had to acquire a chef in your absence as we both know Hisui should not be anywhere near a kitchen. Her name's Gal, but I will speak with her about helping Hisui with the cleaning.

How has the mountain air been treating you? [A test, yes, but she needs to know how much Kohaku still despises her.]

Aaahhhh creepy smile icon

[That answers that. She'll let the twins talk before she confronts Kohaku regarding what happened in Akiha's past.]

Mm. My mistake.

[She starts back toward the orchard where the mansion awaits.]

[identity profile] ritsu-kouyou.livejournal.com 2011-11-08 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. It is a near replica of the mansion in Misaki City. I refused to live in the apartment Hisui had been staying in. It's only right for a Tohno to live in a proper residence here.

We built it in the orchard. It isn't far.

[identity profile] ritsu-kouyou.livejournal.com 2011-11-08 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
[mumbled] If only others here were as wise as you.

[And then she glances over.] The mansion isn't complete yet and it will never fully be so. There are places I will not have replicated in the west wing.

[identity profile] ritsu-kouyou.livejournal.com 2011-11-08 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
[Needless or not, her decision is because of the memories associated with those places. If she had her way, she'd eradicate everything referencing her father back home, but that is beyond her capacity.]

Your room is already prepared, as is Nii-san's.

[identity profile] ritsu-kouyou.livejournal.com 2011-11-08 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
It is. Nii-san isn't here and will not be. But we decided to create his room regardless. It... it didn't feel right without it...

There is only one non-servant resident there besides myself and that's Kris.

[identity profile] ritsu-kouyou.livejournal.com 2011-11-08 11:22 am (UTC)(link)
The idiot magician I referenced before. She's been... seeing to one of your duties in your absence.

[How else does she say she's been drinking Kris' blood without actually saying it? There could be others lurking nearby...]

I find her tolerable, if a lazy idiot.

[identity profile] ritsu-kouyou.livejournal.com 2011-11-08 03:16 pm (UTC)(link)
She's an irritating simpleton that's so lazy she makes a sloth look active. She uses magic for the simplest things - like traveling - has no sense of moderation and is mostly motivated by money or creature comforts.

[In other words, yeah, Akiha does like her somewhat. She doesn't complain this much about the people she doesn't like.]

[identity profile] ritsu-kouyou.livejournal.com 2011-11-08 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose I have less of a reason now to 'share' my maids, as Kris put it. [grumble grumble grumble]

[identity profile] ritsu-kouyou.livejournal.com 2011-11-08 10:37 pm (UTC)(link)
I did just tell you she's lazier than a sloth. She's been wanting her own maid since I let her into the mansion. I've refused to as I only had Hisui and not you as well.

That, and your my servants. [Yup. A little territorial.]
