[She's let the vine approach her, not such a common occurrence these days, but it is what it is. She's sitting on a bed with her back to the room as the vine approaches, staring up at something on the wall.

Anyone who has seen her before might notice that she looks a healthier than she has in a long time, a little color in her skin, alertness in her eyes rather than pain and fatigue.]

I guess it isn't very surprising that I would have to uproot my first attempt at gardening to stop it from fucking everything up.

[It really isn't surprising, she could almost laugh at how disgustingly predictable.

She's silent for a moment longer, still staring up at that dreamcatcher.]

They're called dreamcatchers.

They're supposed to help you sleep.

They don't, really. They're supposed to catch dreams in the web. It's just superstition.

I've been here... almost nine months now. It never makes any more sense.

I'm used to not sleeping. It's bizarre to have it come so easily.

Nine months? Last I heard, six was the longest...ah, sorry.

I'd say take advantage while it lasts, then.

There are others, who have been here longer. Not so many though, they keep disappearing.

Disappearing...I talked to someone who said they lost a friend, but do people really vanish with no warning? Just like that?

They do. Sometimes they come back, but I don't actually think that's preferable.
