[The mirror at first only shows robots marching past, destroying and trampling the Gardens as they go. Really, you might think, why did the Vine even bother? It's not exactly hard to miss the drama going on- no need for this kind of public awareness announcement.

But, see, the Vine sensed something exciting about to happen.]


TIRO FINALE!


[The roar of a single cannon blast; a nigh-blinding burst of light; a massive shot of bright yellow energy shoots into view from somewhere off in the surroundings, obliterating dozens of the robots. Their pieces litter the grass. Then, a small but growing spot of darkness over the busted gears and scraps of metal; the shadow of something falling out of the sky.

Mami gracefully touches down into sight of the mirror, fully transformed and for once not smiling. Unaware that the Vine is recording her, she summons a dozen muskets from thin air with a sweep of her hand. They remain hovering there, by her side, as her cold gaze takes in the damage the robots caused.

It's a very different Mami Tomoe than most in the Gardens know.]

They just won't stop, hmm....? Then neither will I.

[Sayaka definitely recognized that, both the blast and the words. Sayaka hadn't acted on her own yet, too consumed in wondering what to do. But now she can't help but stare, as now she once again see's Mami in action.]

[When the robots first began to attack, Mami had been struck with a sudden doubt in her own abilities. After all, her last fight against a witch had resulted in her death, and her attempt to be strong in the Labyrinth had gone horribly, horribly wrong.

But against foes like these? She needn't have worried. They're nothing- less than nothing. As another slew of robots approach, hostile after the slaughter of their mechanical brethren, Mami guns them all down in quick succession....still unaware that she's being watched.]

[Something felt wrong here. But Sayaka couldn't pin what it was down. Maybe it was because that Mami was out there, once again, all on her own. Perhaps it was that she threw herself in danger once more. Or was it that these robots weren't familiars?]

[She wasn't, um, expecting that from who she sees to be doing this. Both the things she is capable of - though she knows she can handle herself - and the expression on her face.]

[Her head jerks around; it was never really her intention to be seen, showy display of firepower or not. Fighting....no matter what she was trying to protect....that wasn't about glory.]

[So when she sees the mirror, let alone the person staring out at her form it, she's inwardly pretty irritated. But outwardly, the cold expression simply melts away into her usual smile.]

Her feet still a few feet off the ground, she alights near Mami, her hair shining so brightly, it leaves no question as to the source of the new light.]

[It was an impressive display of power, but it seemed overkill to Sakurako. A sword was all she needed to disassemble these oversided toys]
