I can't say I've heard of any. But if there is one, please, let me know. I'd love a good book to pass the time.

In books? Oh, I'll read anything. But my favorite is fiction. Curling up with a good story, getting lost in the characters, the action... Everything!

I see. Unfortunately if no library exists here, I am afraid we will both be at a great loss.

It would certainly make things dull around here. And not just because of fiction. We could find dozens of things in books to help us.

No. Not really. But waiting for something to happen can get that way.

Oh, of course there are. I've found plenty of things to do, but there's nothing better than a good book.

What have you found? If we share similar interests, I might enjoy it as well.

Oh, most of what I do is wander. It's [a blot of ink rests where Belle paused with the pen.] been a long time since I've been able to walk around like this.

But I've heard of other things.

Perhaps we'll pass each other in our wanderings then.

I haven't found one yet.

Then again, if we did find one, it wouldn't surprise me if all the books were gibberish.

A library of Babel would somehow fit the theme of this place.

I've never heard of Babel. Would you tell me about it?

You haven't? It was believed that a group of people tried to build a tower named Babel to the heavens, but failed when they suddenly could no longer understand each others language.

I use the term "library of Babel" to mean a library where nothing can be read. I'm merely being fanciful.

The world is vast, after all. I don't pretend to know about everything in it. That is a very interesting myth, though.

Yep! I can heal! And once a day, that turns into just about anything!

I need to be more rounded though. It's peaceful here, but I don't know how long that will last (or what I'm going to do without Secchan)

[Konoka can be academic, but something about this place is all ROMANCE MODE for her, and she's got no Secchan to take it out on]

I've had this power for a long time. And I can heal minor to mid wounds no problem. But ummm...
