[ 1st ~ Video Post ] ~ here, there be spoilers
[A woman stands elsewhere in the Gardens, sporting a formal white dress. Or, at least, it is mostly white. Judging by the splatters on her neck, it should be pretty clear that the red is certainly not part of the dress.
Her gloved, bloody hand briefly comes up to her chest, as realization has flooded across her visage, before covering one of the fresher wounds over her abdomen. She moves away from the Vine, as communicating through such a mean is a very alien concept to her.]
“I think I would like a status report, but somehow I get the feeling that the answer is an obvious one...”
[Funny. For a woman who had been shot full of bullets, she seems to be getting by just fine. The pain is brief. Just a flesh wound. She’ll walk it off.]

[Aya's priorities = information over her well-being.]
video;
You're in a place called the Gardens. Looks like a paradise, but it's more like a prison, if you ask me. It's ruled by a woman called the Queen. The lady's a bit off her rocker, and I'm being charitable saying that much. [She leans in to the Mirror, a bit too close.] So, you get into a fight before you got here, or what?
video;
Sounds more like someone's read too many fairy tales, to me.
[She pauses at that last part, and looks up.]
That's one way of putting it, yeah.
video;
You need a healer. You'll scare the kids around here, walking around like that.

I reckon the status report can wait. You want... bandages, or something?
video::
[Stubborn as always.]
video::
Welcome to the Garden, then. Animals talk. It's weird.
video::
I've noticed, but I don't quite understand it...

You're at the Queen's Gardens, but I think you should prioritize your worries. You're bleeding. You should-- You should go get that checked. I'm sure there's a medic here.
voice.
[Clearly someone's being very dismissive.]

...Aya?
video;
When her friend's image appears, her eyes widen, her chest sinks.]
Gabrielle...?
[This whole talk of queens and talking animals is too far out there for Aya to simply assume that she's gone to Heaven, so something else of equal logic (or lack thereof) must've happened.]
video;
You're... [For once, she battles with words. Everything feels hazy... surreal, like this is all a dream. But even Gabrielle very knows it's anything but.] ...here.
[Her eyes search over her friend for a moment, taking in the image appearing before her. It feels like ages since she's seen her. The real her. Her voice becomes softer, almost a gentle whisper.]
It's really you.
video;
Come on, Gabrielle. You act as though we haven't seen each other in awhile.
[Like she wasn't standing just outside those church doors. Like she had been dead for a very long time. Like there's something missing. Something that's been misplaced and it hurts even more to maintain this calm, cool façade. Like nothing is wrong. Like she doesn't know anything. Like it isn't just a few bullet wounds on the wedding dress the woman standing in front of her helped pick out--because you know, it's nothing serious. Stitch it up and it'll be right as rain again. But she knows better.]

Are you in need of assistance?
no subject
Not really. Just a change of clothes, that's all.

You're capable of healing yourself? [To Sephiroth, this is not unusual, but she is curious about the abilities and natures of the others here.]

[Also good to know that someone finally gets the gist of what Aya's been saying. Of course, it isn't like she hasn't walked off pain and wounds before, but it's a lot easier to do so knowing that your body will just regenerate over time.]
For the most part. Too bad it doesn't do much on damaged clothing.
[That poor wedding dress...]
