And so that's why Maggie's in a stream. Not on the bank or floating down it or anything like that, just standing there with water up to her knees, the bottom of her skirt wet from every time she bends over to pet one of the colourful fish in the stream.

Oh, thank you. It really is. Second biggest country in the world, you know. All lakes and streams and... well, just about everything you could ask for, geographically, besides desert and rainforest. The rocky coasts and the tundra are the best, if you ask me. No one does tundra as well as my territories do, bless their hearts.

I have no family. I have few I can even consider friends. My home is with myself, because my heart stays with me. If the humans panic and set their world alight, I feel but the tragedy of the spectator as such a drama plays out. Time means nothing to me, I almost consider myself to live outside of it with how little it impacts me other than watching flowers bloom, seasons change, ideas run their course.
