[Chocolates were supposed to be harmless, weren't they? So it was something else making her feel like this, all warm and needy and stupidly French. Tabernac. Nothing like piles and piles or snow or a good shootout to get your mind off of dirty things.

And so that's why Maggie's in a stream. Not on the bank or floating down it or anything like that, just standing there with water up to her knees, the bottom of her skirt wet from every time she bends over to pet one of the colourful fish in the stream.

She's well aware it's not dignified in the slighest but honestly, the thoughts in her mind right now need to go.]
