001 Vine/Action
[The vine has decided to get a head start on this newcomer, apparently, considering it’s picking up the image of the small redheaded woman still curled on her side in the petals.]
[After a minute or two she finally starts to stir. Any hint of grogginess is almost snapped away as she bolts upright, long red hair loose and falling around her shoulders. She looks down at herself, near panic in her eyes as she sees her clothing, one arm crossing over hervery, very slight chest as if trying to cover herself (perhaps an odd movement? It isn’t as though anything is showing after all). ]
[She looks around rapidly, turning over and onto her feet in a slight crouch, still holding her arm across her chest—then after another moment of panic she seems to force herself to calm, breathing slowly and bringing her hand up to her face to pinch the bridge of her nose as she concentrates, remaining like that for a long silent minute.]
[Then she gives an audible, almost relieved sigh. Did she figure something out? Who knows, this one doesn’t seem like a talker, does she?]
Idiot… it doesn’t matter… You left that life behind now…
Still…
[She finally looks up again, now moving to run her hands over the ground around her, uplifting loose petals, likely to see if something has been covered up by them. Finding nothing she finally stands, showing obvious discomfort with the way she’s holding herself about the waist. Moving forward a bit, she catches sight of something a little further ahead and quickly moves there (and the mirror tilts and moves a bit to keep her in range). She pushes a few hanging vines to the side and a pile of clothing, a pack and a sword can be seen. She takes the sword up, instantly unsheathing it—and if anyone who happens to see this can tell, it is very clear that the dull edge of the blade is on the wrong side. She visibly sighs with relief again, sheathing the sword before looking back toward where she woke.]
[Hello… why is there a cat there with what appears to be a scroll in its mouth…? She glances further up and directly into the feed from across the clearing…
[And why is there a mirror extending out of that vine as if it was deliberately trying to watch her!? :|;;;;;;;;]
[And, being caught in the act, the vine seems to decide to end the show.]
[ooc; /o/ lol here’s hoping I’m not doing this wrong on my first try here!!! Vine replies will come after she reads the scroll and changes her clothes, if anyone wants action... toss them in whenever! orz I tl;dr way too much…]

Welcome, newcomer.
[She stared a bit blankly at the mirror--the scroll had said 'use the vine', this must have been what it meant. This was such a strange dream...]
...
What... exactly is this place...?
[She's still fairly convinced she's dreaming, but it was force of habit...]
I would say...a small isolated reality.
Would you be from Japan?
[What is that supposed to mean...?]
...
Yes.
Ha. I thought so. Greetings swordswoman. I am Yukari Yakumo, also of Japan.
Is that so...?
[Her look flattens out a bit, considering this. She barely hides the flinch as her true gender is referred to yet again. She was no longer part of the Choshuu, it truly did not matter if the fact was known, but after so many years hiding it being identified readily was... jarring]
[She inclined her head toward the woman in the mirror. This would have been the point where one regularly would have given their name. She faltered. It had been so long since she had a normal conversation with someone where her reputation hadn't already preceded her that she... honestly didn't know how to act... or even what name to give.]
...
Himura Kenshin...
[It was silly, getting anxious over a name... Very few knew Hitokiri Battousai's surname. Only a sparse handful knew 'his' given name--and half of them were dead now.]
[And this was a dream anyway, right?]
You might have noticed that there are a lack of men here.
So I've been told...
Would you like any assistance?
I... think I'll just look around for now...
Don't swing that at anything you come across, now.
I wasn't planning to.
