*insert training montage here?*

*Kazumi can be found today near the necessities, wearing a kendo-gi and holding a bokken at ready*

*compared to people with super powers, the movements she's going through aren't particularly impressive. They're just exercises to keep herself in top form... though, those intimately familiar with normal swordplay can tell that she has a ways to go to master the blade*

*still, she's doing her best... and killing time as well.*

*watch? Interrupt? Challenge to a duel? Throw stuff at her?*

Hmmm... [stares]

[It's a different style than she's familiar with, but combat is combat ...]

... what are you doing?

With such a tepid spirit, do you plan to fight!?

[identity profile] bishoujo-ga-yoi.livejournal.com 2011-01-14 06:19 am (UTC)(link)
Why do you then not reject my statement with fierceness, or ignore it with composure!?

Every thing a person says or does reflects upon their spirit.

Why do you want to fight?

You lack the pride of a fighter.

... you are ill suited for it.

[She shakes her head]

You are ill suited for it. That means you lack the basic qualities of a warrior. This will always hinder you.

Have you ever truly known fear? Despair? Death?

[She steps one foot onto a rock as tall as her knee, then ...]

[Fast as a flicker, her foot goes up, down, crack! Like a clap of rumbling thunder, her greaved foot crashes through stone, broken rubble surrounding her foot, pressed into the ground.]
