"Action"
[Today, now that the snow has somewhat cleared up in the Orchards, people out there looking for food might stumble across Signum apparently taking an uncharacteristic nap under a tree.]
[If you look closer, she has a fishing pole propped up nearby where she can hear any movement of the line by a fish - she decided to provide some fish for dinner tonight. Trout, if she can catch it, since you don't really get those in Japan or Midchilda.]
[That's not the whole story behind her closed eyes and unusually relaxed posture, though. She's meditating, in a sense, trying to feel the magic that's being used to maintain and continue to create this place. She's no expert on the mystical side of the arts she uses, but lacking anything further in this place to give mere visual reconnaissance, she's decided to attempt focusing more on different places in particular, feeling the flow of mana and leylines, with the vague fuzziness of living things with Linker Cores wandering around her, including the almost nonexistant little phantoms of the dumb fish that were ignoring her bait.]
[Naturally, anyone concentrating this much is just asking to be bothered.]

*Kazumi's not sure if Signum is sleeping or what, and she wouldn't want to disturb her... maybe she should wait by the fishing pole in case it catches something so that she can reel it in for her, in the event that she is asleep?*

[She says, without opening her eyes or moving]

*she jerks back a bit in surprise*
A-are you a mind reader?
no subject
no subject
*that's a relief, she's not sure what kind of stuff a mind reader would pick up from her and she wouldn't want to find out*
Though, who'd want to steal a fishing pole in this place?

... I don't really know how to make one, either, but it's easier to just use the room service instead of trying to catch something.

... though, the people in charge seem nice enough that they wouldn't want to do anything weird with our food. Even if they brought us here against our will...

...there are video games of hunting and fishing?
no subject
Yeah. I usually don't play games that are just about that, though. But there are a few games that have them as mini-games.
no subject
Now, games about fantastic violence or impossible puzzles or whatever, wasting time on those makes some small amount of sense.

Signum.
Any luck?
no subject
Not having much luck analyzing this place, either. Where are Rein and Shamal when you need them?
no subject
Where'd ya get the rod? I'd rather fish than pheasant tonight and I've finished scouting for a bit.

...Testarossa, right?
no subject
[She laughs as she takes a seat near Signum; not too close, though, so she won't interrupt her meditation too much.]
Any luck so far?
no subject
And no, not with fishing or insight. I feel a good deal less anxious, at least.

[Fate turns away, looking out over the lake.]
I wonder if that's a bad thing... being able to feel at ease here, even just a little.

I've also been thinking about something. Most of us were brought here while the Huckebein incident was going on, but Vivio is much younger than she ought to be, isn't she?

It's either that or we start into timeline divergence theories, which are well beyond my understanding. I am just a fighter, after all.

[Bitter? Fate's totally not bitter. She really didn't mind being hit with horrible memories of her childhood and nearly freezing to death. Didn't mind it at all.]
no subject
Then again, I didn't have it so bad. My "roommate" was undead, and a surprisingly good fighter on top of that. ...Slightly frightening, really, but good.
no subject
[She's probably juuuust getting rid of that crazy cold now. That was not fun.]
