action.
[ She's gotta be hallucinating.
The grass she feels and the air she breathes are that of the island. She's wearing the same clothes she's been wearing for a day, the same clothes she would wear for this morning's performance of "why is Juliet playing along with one of Ben's schemes again?" Her mind can't accept that she's grown so desperate for home that she unflinchingly believes a liar, that she lets her freedom be the wage for working in the name of bullshit: a godlike entity who cures all except the cancer that strikes his chosen one, except the unstoppable force that kills all pregnant women on the island.
Her mind can't accept that she no longer views people as patients, but as tools, a means to an end. That she's wandered far from who she used to be. It's only natural that she would lose her sense of reality after she lost her sense of morality. She's amazed it didn't happen sooner. She just doesn't understand why she's dreamed up this place, of all places, when she's not too big on plants and animals. And women. And the boring but cozy sweater and jeans combo she wore all day yesterday, was going to wear today, but is now being carried in her arms as she looks about her improbable hallucination.
This isn't real, so what does it matter if she's not particularly looking at where she's going, or who she's going to walk in to? ]

Dressed with too many layers (you could throw a punch at her and you would probably think you were punching a pillow) because, sheesh, that cold did not suit well with a firebird. Fortunately the Queen had been gentle enough to provide warmer clothes and Birdie had taken them all, from the big fluffy sweater over about four layers of thinner shirts, to the scarves and ear warmers and a big beanie to the thick gloves that are a bit too big for her fingers, but keep them warm, so she doesn't complain. The girl tilts her head curiously at the blonde woman walking aimlessly through the Gardens covered in snow, knowing that look: lost, like her - like everyone. But what makes her curious is the fact that she isn't wearing as much as Birdie and she wonders if she's warm, if she's cold.
From up there, the tree she has been sitting on, she looks down and blinks slowly, looking like the little curious bird she is, making a little curious noise that may or may not make Juliet look up to see a pale-haired girl dangling from the tree. ]

To say nothing of the sound effects. They aren't right at all. You hear a bird chirp and you look up expecting to see a bird, not a bundled-up young woman with no birds in sight.
She shakes her head. Goodwin's side-effects were burns and occasional respiratory difficulties, not hallucinations. ]
So it wasn't the gas.
[ She mutters to herself, not caring if the phrase sounds confusing out of context. It wasn't the gas seeping in to an unsecured mask. It wasn't anything that could explain why she was seeing things that were incongruous to her psychology.
She closes her eyes, tilts her head. Smirks. Why is she trying to make sense of insanity? ]

Gas, is it, yes, maybe? [ It's a weird way, not very correct, fast, a bit skittish. She's just repeating the word, really, not making a question or offering an answer to this whole situation.
She's safe up there, on the snow-covered branch, so it's okay to be talking, though she is still wary and careful, a bit distrustful. ]
What is it, what? Will you tell me, yes?
no subject
You tell me.
[ She has no idea what she's asking. Is it the gas? Is it a yes? A maybe? Not that Juliet can answer. Answers don't come from insane people. ]

-A voice from above.-

Or the rabbits will eat me?

You look a little lost.
[ It's said gently, and with a slight smile. This is not the first time Revan has met someone who doesn't know where they are. Hell, that could have been her not so long ago. ]

You're nice for a hallucination.

Last time I checked I was pretty real. So's this place, even if it doesn't seem like it. Welcome to the Gardens.
[ It feels strange, welcoming her here even though she hasn't been here very long herself, but it's really the only thing to do. ]

If you're real, where did you come from?

[ Then she chuckles quietly. ] Well. I guess I should say I lived on Coruscant. Seems I'm living here for the time being. Along with you and everyone else who's been brought here. It's all women. No one knows why.
Didn't a cat bring you a scroll when you got here? [ Her tone isn't accusatory or anything like it. She's just seeing how much the woman already knows before she starts trying to explain with her admittedly limited knowledge of this place and how it works. ]

Still. ]
It has its charm.
[ Beat.
Calmly, ]
I'm talking to myself.

...Oh my god I forgot what I was having Yukari doing. D'oh!
Nonsense. I'm right here.
It's okay XD
Oh. Of course you are.

[She knows someone who is in shock, or isn't doing all that well mentally, when she sees one.]

I'm fine. Thanks for asking.

Now, now, be careful, if you wander too far that way, the wolves will have to get you.
no subject
[ She looks disappoint in her imagination. Wolves! Big bad wolves! ]
They'll huff and they'll puff and they'll blow the house down.
[ She laughs. She really has gone insane, hasn't she? ]

Did you hit your head or something?
