I heard something. Something very special! So I'm going to need someone to explain it to me.

Mostly I want to know how I can get free presents this month. Someone was saying something about it but I really didn't understand. But it'd really be nice if I could get some presents from other people. [HINT HINT] I could probably come up with things to give in return too.

I've got some magical equipment laying around that I could still give away. [Does that even count as a present?] It'll be a fair trade!

[And, as always, if anyone in the mansion wants mistletoe hijinks or just messing around in person, Kris can always be found still working on that pile of cake she got a long time ago. Thank god for magical preservation. IT'S STILL FRESH.]

I know you think she deserved it and she certainly thinks she deserved it, and even I sometimes thinks she deserved it, but she is part of my life again and I want you two to get along again.

If you didn't do anything wrong, why did the creature drag you to the bottom of a well and rip you apart after you almost killed Katina?

[Guess who told Akiha what really happened?]

So why did you try to kill her? Did it ever occur to you that even being as upset as I was, I might have not wanted what you did to happen?

I do love her. I hate the way she makes me feel, but I love her. And I love you. You hurting her pains me as much as if she had hurt you.

[Kris sets her cake down and ends up staring at her lap, hands resting there too.]

[After a moment, Akiha wrapped her arms about Kris' shoulders from behind.]

I'm not asking you to like her. I'm asking you to apologize and be civil with her. Just as I do with Alice.

[She gives Kris a kiss on the cheek. Good. She doesn't have to blackmail Kris to apologize by withholding the magician's presents.]

I just don't want you kissing her, making out with her or having sex with her. I don't care if you spend time with her.

Well, right now, I'm not doing any of that with Katina.

[A pause and then Akiha lets go, turning away to look down. There's a slight waver to her voice.]

Do you... do you love Alice like you love me?

[Kris is all too quick to climb over the back of her chair and throw her arms around Akiha.]

Nope! You're the only one!

Action

[Akiha wasn't expecting that in the slightest. With an undignified squawk of surprise, she ends up hitting the ground with Kris on top of her.]

K-Kris!
