[ Yuuka appears on the mirror and she looks tired. Like... "hasn't had a scrap of food or sleep in a week" tired, not "hasn't fought something in a week" and bored. The distinction is in the bags under her eyes and the way she tracks the movement of leaves in the wind lazily. Even her tone lacks any of her normal vigor. ] ...this isn't where...

[ She can't even complete her thoughts. It's pretty bad for herm but if one is wondering the cause of all this, it's quite obvious. The green-haired youkai is literally sleeping in a pile of marigolds. Some have survived this attention, but some haven't.

Yuuka is also clutching something small and white in her left hand, but details are hard to see unless someone finds her in person; at risk to their own health, of course. ]

[ She slowly stirs, looking around. ] Hm? Who's there?

Someone who is bringing you food.

Food? [ She closes her eyes. ] I just want sleep. Always interrupting my dreams...

You may think yourself above it, but even a youkai like yourself needs something.

[ Confused, Yuuka takes a look around. ] Someone's missing...

[Yumeko sounds...exasperated more than anything, really.]

[nephentes_rajah]

[ For a moment, it looks like she has some sort of snappy comeback or other insult but then her focus wavers. ] Mmn, taller now, I see.

As are you. That's not the point here.

[The point here is that this is weird and Yumeko is unsettled by it.]

Mmn, the point is I'm tired.

And why are you sleeping in the dirt?

[Maybe this will actually be as satisfying as it should be to see if she knows why?]

Dirty? [ She draws a hand up and turns it over and back again. ] No more than nature allows.

[Reimu spotted Yuuka in the mirror, and saw right away something was wrong. She quickly flew out in search of her. She finds her a little while later sleeping in those flowers. She lands and quickly walks towards Yuuka.]

Get up now!!

[ It's a testament to how out of it she was in that all Yuuka did was roll over onto her side and wave her hand dismissively.

[Reimu ignored her, and went to go grab Yuuka.]

I side get up! Those plants are dangerous, even to you!!

[ Hopefully Reimu can appreciate the fact that, under any other circumstance, she might have lost at least one of those arms in this situation. Or at least earned herself a few scratches.

But Yuuka just shrugs her shoulders and shakes her head. ] They are soft.

[nekomikoreimu]

[Reimu is aware of the danger, but she persists. She looks at the flowers and raises her hand.]

Well, seems like I need to take some drastic measures.

[Reimu gulps, and then starts to shoot and destroy the flowers. Is she nuts, or just that determined to get Yuula out of her daze?]

[ She is going to be pretty unhappy about that when she comes out of this, but for right now all she does is grab some low part of Reimu — an ankle, her skirt, something — and pull the miko in for a hug like she's some kind of oversized teddy bear.

...and, surprisingly, it's not to smother her or crush her into pulp. ] Hush, child, you're being too loud...

I left it. [ She rolls her head back to look at the sky. ] ...or it left me.

[cleaningstop]

Where you left what?

[nephentes_rajah]

I don't remember.

Then how can you be sure you left it in the first place?

Maybe you only think you do!

[nephentes_rajah]

[ A slow shake of her head. ] I didn't leave something, I left... someone. Or they left me. [ Yuuka creases her brow. Why can't she remember the way? It's like she's lost in her own mind. ]
