[Today, while roaming the Gardens, you might come across an unusual sight. Sure, there has been blonde maid in the Gardens for the past month and a half or so, but not one that is so...short. Or young. Upon closer examination, though, it seems that the clothes she is wearing are too big for her, and there's a bag of popcorn from the café cradled in her arms. Ah. Maybe that explains it.]

[The rabbits seem to be out in full force today, too, which isn't exactly helping matters. They harry Yumeko as they follow along at her heels, nipping at her socks and constantly getting underfoot in a way that offers just enough room to act like they aren't trying to trip her. Yumeko's scowl deepens more and more the longer this goes on, until finally she outright growls and throws the bag right at them in frustration. It's tossed with all the force she can muster, candy spilling everywhere as it hits the ground.]

[Whether or not that makes them scatter, Yumeko stomps past them without a backward glance at the mess she's made.]

[ ooc: JSYK, Yumeko has retained all her memories. The deaging isn't just physical, though — her mentality has also regressed, so despite her best efforts to do otherwise, she'll be behaving like a child. ]

[Yumeko can't help but feel proud of herself, standing over Yuuka where she landed. For a second or two, she might even look a little smug. But, of course, there's only so much time before Yuuka gets back on her feet again, and when she does so, Yumeko isn't surprised at all that she lunges at her in return. Completely forgetting her station, she grapples right back, making grabs for her wrists, upper arms, and even hair.]

[ If hair-pulling is now off the table, then this scuffle won't be complete without some dirt-flinging and biting. Yuuka's savagery didn't vanish when most of her mass did. She's every bit the little hellion, even then. The thought that Yumeko might still be able to pull swords out of thin air doesn't cross her mind. ]

[The biting isn't really surprising, considering Yumeko had just been calling her an animal, but she still yelps. Because she is an elegant and mature lady, she does not bite back, but she does kind of flail and try to kick Yuuka in the shins in reply.]

[At some point, she'll realize that being an elegant and mature lady also means not yanking someone's hair and trying to wrestle them to the ground, but, you know. "At some point."]

[ There are several words that exist which children — or those that appear like children — should never be caught uttering, much less screaming loudly. But those sorts of words are exactly what spill forth as her forehead collides suddenly and unexpectedly with the maid's.

Reacting, she pushes the "girl" away and lets go, hands flying to her own forehead as she crumples to the ground on her knees. The stars across her vision and the accompanying sharp pain are quite the distraction. Any further down and she might just have broken her nose. ]

[Yumeko doesn't swear. She does, however, let out another yelp when their heads collide, this one sounding more like an undignified squawk. She staggers back a few steps when she's shoved, but that's as far as she gets before she trips over her own skirt and lands flatly on her bottom. From her seat on the grass, she gingerly presses her fingertips to her forehead.]

Ooou...

[ It could be the pain. It could be a lot of things. But for whatever reason, Yuuka starts laughing. And not her usual "oh haha, aren't you cute sort of laugh' but a warm, honest, LOUD bout of serious laughter.

One hand over her splitting gut, the other pointing right at Yumeko. ] You... look... so... DUMB right now!! I wish you could see yourself. [ It's hard to say if her mind's been affected now, or not. ]

[Wow, this is weird. The fact that Yumeko finds this weird is obvious from the look on her face as she lowers her hand away. She can't even manage to sound especially indignant when she speaks again.]

I don't... I don't see what's so funny!

[She scrambles to her feet, brushing her skirt off in some desperate attempt to reclaim her dignity... And then almost trips over it again in her haste, accidentally stepping on its hem.]

[ Yuuka is calm for but a moment, pausing to see if the girl will retaliate... but no, she just almost trips over herself and it makes Yuuka just laugh harder and harder. ] Oh, stop it! Stop!! I can't take much more, ahahahah~!

[Yumeko straightens herself out as Yuuka laughs, hiking up her skirt some as she does so. Her cheeks turn red in a mixture of embarrassment and frustration.]

Ugh, you...

[Her hands curl into little fists, and for a moment she looks like she's going to stomp closer again and kick dirt at Yuuka or something. But she stops herself this time, perhaps because the place where their heads conked together is still throbbing, and turns around instead.]

If you have no more business with me, I'll be leaving!

[ No answer. Too busy laughing. She'll remember this for a looong time to come. ]
