I should have done this a while ago...

[Oh, look. There's Holiday again, this time with her normal clothes (orange shirt, black skirt, knee high boots, and a lab coat ~~because why not~~) on and walking around the garden.]

Well, first off, I should introduce myself more properly, I guess. My name is Doctor Rebecca Holiday and I thought I should offer my services to the Garden. I am a doctor of theory, but I also practice medicine, so if there's something that the snakes can't or won't help you with, I'll be happy to help you out in any way I can.

Also... while the cat's were accommodating, I think... I should start looking for a more permanent place to stay. Trying to find a way out was, as everyone's told me, useless.

Anyone have any selections of places to live?

The nanites would be poisonous to me. I'd survive, but until it worked out of my system, bad things would happen. There are a pair of cyborgs I am friends with that have also offered, but their blood is the same with nanomachines.

[Akiha set her tea down.]

I've managed to control my cravings to approximately one or two bags a month without it stressing me. [She's gone almost two months now - this is why she can't wait much longer.] I would prefer they not know where their blood is going, but if it must be said, it must be said. And I don't want to know who the blood belongs to unless I experience an adverse effect or an unusual taste in it.

The ones most likely to agree, knowing the reality, are Gal and Akira.

[Rebecca nods. Gal just offered her a place to stay, so this could be easier than she initially thought.]

How soon do you need the blood?

[If she's telling her, a newcomer, all of this, then it must be soon.]

If I go more than two weeks longer without it, I'm afraid of what I will do.

[She nods.]

And you have no emergency stores, I take it?

[Two weeks. Alright. She can do that. She already has a good lie in mind. She just wonders if it'll work... Even if just one person answers, it'll be worth it.]

[And she's more likely to hunt or to go to Kris or Katina before drinking from the Lake.]

[She nods again.] Alright. Hopefully we can fix that.

Perhaps I could run a small blood drive if I could find the proper equipment to do it with. It wouldn't be suspicious of a doctor to ask for blood in the case of emergencies. Though, hopefully, you'll be the only one that needs it.

[Oh, right. Her tea is starting to get cold. Holiday takes a sip of it, not wanting to waste the cup and be rude.]

You can make the equipment easily with the special dirt. Just go to the edges of the Garden, collect some of it and then reshape it into anything you can imagine.

[Akiha frowns.] I don't know how it works, but it does. Think of it as magic if nothing else.

[OHNOTTHEDIRTAGAIN]

... Someone did tell me that I can make a house out of the dirt...

She proceeded to tell me that she wasn't insane, so-...

I'm just going to have to go see this.

This mansion is made from it. I assure you, it is real.

It's just absurd and makes absolutely no sense.

[She blinks at the other woman then starts letting her eyes roam across the extravagant room that they're sitting in. She even rubs her hands across her seat.]

Wow... That's incredible.

[Right. She gets serious again, going back to the earlier topic.]

Okay. I'll just use that... dirt stuff to make a small facility. A doctor's office, if you will. It'll work for serving your purpose and many more.
