Just a quick question. Am I forgetting to read in between the lines or did I miss something somewhere when I showed up here?

My name is Lyn and even though things are a little fancy, I'm pretty sure I'm not where I want to be. Then again, I'm not opposed to meeting anyone new so don't think I'm being unwelcoming of whatever hospitality this is.

Reflected in the mirror is a woman in the kind of pink dress and dull red bodice that only a noblewoman could afford. The tiara peeking through her tight blond princess curls confirms the woman's Nobility, in birth and demeanor if not in deed.

"I am the Duchess Elstwhere and the Marquise Wulfhammer - or would be, at home. It would be a pleasure to meet you, were it not in a cage."

The Duchess nods. "This place is another plane of existence, brought forth by the magic of our warden and with a finite boundary. Falwythwr would be fascinated with it's construction..." She shakes her head. "Our captor is the Queen of Hearts, and she has some small power to create and maintain this place. She spirits women away from their homes to this world, for a purpose I do not know."

She shakes her head and sighs. "I have responsibilites towards my Duchy and the Marque. I assume you have responsibilies as well."

No. I live on my own so I don't have anything I need to look after. That doesn't mean I approve, however.
