[ The mirror is recording as the Queen stands at the shoreline, the long stretch of the dunes at her back, the sheer plane of water before her. And overhead the clouds are still flashing with lightning, even as the serpent's bones rain down and warriors close in upon the ship. The storms are banished first, brushed aside with nothing more than an impatient motion. The ship will have to come down next, and she reaches upwards, pausing for only a moment when the High Priestess appears, her feet wet when the tide rolls in, and her head shaded beneath a paper parasol. She says something that can't be heard and the Queen nods distractedly, beginning then to reel down the Labrys as if she has caught it round with a lasso. The Pirate Queen appears at the rails, looking startled and irritated, calling out gruffly,]

Ready to open your mouth, woman?

[ Her majesty sighs, stating very deliberately, ] We do need to talk, yes.

[ The ship hits the ground with a spray of sand and sea, but the gangplank is lowered, and the Queen steps onto the ship, leaving the High Priestess standing at the edge of the tide. A squadron of large brown bears take up positions around the site. The Warrior Princess does not take long in joining them, her face cut and streaked with ash and blood. She does not take her eyes off of the ship, not even for a moment.

When the Queen reappears to see her there, she smiles bashfully. ]

High Priestess, you still have those bottled little folk, don't you, my dear?

[ Whatever the expression on the High Priestess' face, it is not pleasure, but she inclines her head obediently. Soon enough, a cat can be seen walking slowly down the beach, a rope in its mouth that is tied to a floating crate. The faeries inside rattle in their bottles, lights flashing within.

The Pirate Queen crows something rude and self-aggrandizing from the rails, grinning, and the damsels are led up from below deck by an honor guard of battered skeletons. The Queen opens her arms to them. ]

Darlings! I'm so glad to see you safe!

[ The Damsel goes to her, if no one else, and even she has soon moved on, hurrying across the sands to greet the Warrior Princess with a hug that is not returned.

The gangplank of the Labrys recedes when the crate is safely onboard, and though the ship does not seem to be moving, some of the skeletons wave cheerfully from the decks, giggling in that eerie way of theirs. ]

[ Mugi is quite happy to be free. Despite feeling most at ease on the ship out of all the other damsels, it is still good to be back with everyone else.

Mugi, herself, is dressed in a plain blue dress, with simple open-toed sandals and her hair tied up. She's a bit disheveled, but unharmed. She is standing off to the side of the reunions, a bag stuff with clothes hanging off of each arm, and just positively beaming at all the joy and affection being shared as those who are released return to those who were waiting on them. Those who had been fighting for them.

She should probably calm down... ]

[Is a bit battle worn and quite tired. Though she did not use her strongest attack in the fight, she is still exhausted. She looks around, still in her transformed state. She looks worried, but everyone seems to be alright.]

Is everyone alright?

[ Oh my, that is a rather dazzling sight. Mugi is staring, having found herself tongue-tied. ]

[ Ky fought with some expectation that the battle would be longer, and as a result she's not completely exhausted. Still, it's plenty of a relief to see that the prisoners have been freed, and she approaches Mugi. ]

Are you alright?

Ky! Hello! [ She steps right up to her, all smiles. ] I am quite well, thank you. I hope everyone was not too worried.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I wasn't certain that you would be okay. Were you treated alright, while you were taken?

Yes, quite well! [ By her standards. They literally did not harm a single hair on her head. ] There was much to see, and a few new activities for me, as well. The ship is much larger than it appears from out here, and the crew was as lively as before.

One thing has been bothering me, however...

Hel— oh! [ Stunned, Mugi drops her bags to the ground. How unexpected! There isn't any recognition, yet, which is why she doesn't hug back right away. ]

[Whoops the hat's probably in the way. Good thing after burying her face against Mugi's chest, it gets knocked off thanks to the wide brim. There, recognize that enormous ahoge?]

[ A shocked gasp. ] Kazumi-san? I'm very sorry. I was safe. Please, trust me!

Really? They didn't hurt you or anything?

-Once the others got their fill, there was one last person, standing just some ways off, left to greet her upon her return. She wore a somewhat sheepish grin, and there was a glint of tear in her eye. Only just barely, though...-

[ All that whereas Mugi looks like she stepped off of a cruise yacht. ] You did? [ She would clap her hands together but, well, they're full. ] I'm glad! I was hoping it might reach you. Especially the second page.

I believe that is what you call it when you are taken from your sleep in the night! [ Casually. She does have the grace to look a little sheepish. ] It must have been a surprise for those of you in the house. Was anyone woken up?

I see. They are quite stealthy, for skeletons. I wonder how they do it...

[ Grinning brightly, Larry walks over to Mugi, resisting the urge to rush up and swing her around in a hug. They're both too tired for that, no matter how upbeat Mugi looks about the whole situation. ]

[ Hands empty now, Mugi approaches her host and smiles brightly. ] Not when I have been returned to my friends, no!

How have you been, Larry? Raven tells me that no one noticed when we were taken.

[ While she wasn't fighting, Larry's still tired and dirty from mechanical work. Not at all like Mugi. ]
