[The vine turns on to the image of Kazumi in a room you might not recognize if you don't know what the inside of Akira Satou's apartment looks like. Even if you do, you might not recognize it: everything's been cleaned up and organized and it looks like there's at least 3 things cooking in the kitchen right now]

It's definitely a lot more fun cooking for more people. It's hard cooking just one serving, so you end up eating the same thing for a while if you're by yourself. Cooking for other people means you get to cook new things more often! Though...

[The girl looks over at the stove, ahoge twitching before she turns back to the vine]

...I think I might have made too much! So, um, Akira, if there's anyone you want to bring over for dinner, well... tonight would be a good night? I got all my things moved in [It was mostly food and cooking stuff. Your fridge has never been so stocked] and wanted to make something nice to celebrate but I kind of went overboard, eheh... I just really wanted to thank you for this! And for the kiss, hehe.

[She giggles and blushes a little, then remembers the vine's still showing and turns her attention back to it, all happy, innocent smiles again]

Anyway! Who else out there likes cooking? The party made me think, there's probably people here who are from different places with aaaaall sorts of different cooking! We should exchange recipes!

Aww... though I guess that makes sense! It's not every day a Pirate Queen comes visiting, huh? I'm glad they didn't make trouble.

Not yet, anyways. Hopefully this party's all they're up to, though, or at least nothing any worse than that.

Then it was a really effective distraction! I'm pretty sure she didn't show up, so if she was messing with things behind the scenes no one would have noticed.

Maybe we should check and make sure nothing's missing then... stealing stuff would be a pretty pirate-y thing to do.

It'd be hard to check everything. For all we know, she stole something we didn't even know was here.

That's true... well, that other woman didn't approve of her right? So she'd probably be the first to notice something gone and call her out on it.

Yeah. Let's keep our ears open in case she figures out that we've been tricked.

Until then though... maybe they were just good pirates! I don't really like suspecting people, so it's nicer just to hope they were.

It's probably more likely here than in most places, what with this being kind of a fantasy land.

Hahah, yeah... I don't think many real-life pirates are that nice, but you hear about them all the time in stories, don't you?

Yeah, real life pirates are... well... pirates. Rape and pillage and all that, right?

But pirates in stories are cool.

Yeah, some of the times. Sometimes they're the villains though!

Those still aren't always as bad as the real thing.

Yeah, I guess so... I've never really heard much about real ones. They're kind of a thing of the past, right? [Oh, naive baby]

Not particularly, actually. There aren't the kinds of pirates funded by nations to attack other nations, though, so they aren't high profile any more.

Wow, really? They probably don't look like storybook pirates though, huh?

Not at all. They're usually more like bank robbers with a speedboat.

That kind of loses all the romance, huh?

Just a bit. No one wants to read stories about the real thing.

I bet they don't do any swashbuckling at all...

I guess we can ask the pirate queen if she shows up.

She'd be the expert, I guess.

I'll definitely keep that in mind then.

Well, I should probably get back to cooking! Eheh, Akira's going to be home soon, so I need to get everything finished.
