I've heard that not everywhere people come from has experienced the same war which my world has.

Yes, that's certainly true, but... if it concerns my homeland, I still want to know.

It's mostly about the war, really. The land is different as a result, the main thing being the dragon type Gear in Beijing.

Not as good as if it were destroyed, but it is in a static state, and not presently a threat to anyone.

What's going to happen to it now? Is it just going to stay where it is?

It might in the future be destroyed but for now, yes. It isn't conscious in any way, but it's too bit to move.

I have to admit, I've never even heard of a dragon being as dangerous as that.

[at least something managed to stick in that head of hers.]

It's part machine and genetically engineered. It's not a...natural dragon, not that those existed in my world.
