Kanako was enjoying the Sakura trees, but she really came to watch the lovely maidens. She tried to approach the miko once, but was scared off when she saw her fight this other girl with lasers. She did not want to be on the receiving end of that, so she was avoiding her.

So, when she saw the miko get up and leave Fionna by herself, she quickly ran up and sat next to her.

"Hi Fionna! What lovely Sakura trees." She didn't notice what she was drinking just yet
