Attention everyone. It has seemed that the Cherry blossoms by my shrine have reached their peak. I would like to keep the Hakurei Shrine tradition of Cherry blossom viewings while here, so please feel free to come to my shrine.

I have already set out some blankets, and procured some Sake and Tea. Everything else you need to bring yourself.

If you want to see cherry blossoms at their finest, today is the day to do it.

Oh right, that's a pretty big deal in Japan isn't it?

It's one of the most popular events in Gensokyo. I heard it quite popular outside of Gensokyo as well.

Yeah, same here. See the cherry blossoms, drink some sake... I know the capital of the US used to have some cherry blossoms that were a gift from Japan, but I don't think they're still around.

[nekomikoreimu]

The capital of America had cherry blossoms? I never knew that. We don't get much news on America in Gensokyo, just whatever Rinnosuke and Yukari bring in.

Aa— I would very much like to see. [ She seems shy about saying so, but... cherry blossoms! She has to see them, it would be strange not to. ]

Then come on over. Just remember to bring your own food.

I shall certainly do so! Is there perhaps a preference as to what food...?

*Reimu thinks for a moment*

I haven't had Dango's in awhile...

I assumed you would come. You come to all the ones in Gensokyo after all.

I suppose some other flavors of tea would be nice. What type of tea are you going to bring?

Cherry blossoms?

They also go by the name Sakura trees, but it seems most people outside of Gensokyo know them as Cherry Blossom trees.

Once a year they turn the brightest shade of pink and gently fall from the trees. It's quite the site to behold.

*Reimu was quiet for a moment.*

Why don't you come here. I think you need something to take your mind off being here.

*Action* And Fionna is....DRUNK?!

So the cherry blossoms were really, REALLY pretty! She loved looking at them, and talked with Remiu a bit about them: why they blossomed, what they signified and how they looked where the Miko was from. And of course, it being Fionna, she had indulged in the traditions and refreshments put forth, bringing her own snacks.

Tea? Check! Sake...check.

And herein is where things got interesting.

"Hey, this stuff tastes funny," Fionna commented, taking another cup. "It's like, that stuff I had on the day of the ball, but milkier. What's in this?"

Reimu looked over from her cup she just finished. "It's made from fermenting rice, but you can add many other ingredients for different tastes."

[fionna_time]

"Fermenting rice," Fionna repeated, her face feeling a little flush. "I dunno, I never had rice that made me feel all weird."

[nekomikoreimu]

"That's sake for you," Reimu said pouring herself some more, then taking another sip. "You'll get used to it."
