*Those of you walking around the gardens might find Vivio standing around in her adult form, training a bit.

And by training I mean just launching blasts of magic into the air for no good noticeable reason.

Depending on when you come by, she could just be getting started, or she might be almost at the end. If it's the later, well, you're free to witness just what that whole thing was about.*

Okay, that should be enough now... hope I can get it right this time.

*Vivio closes her eyes, moving her hands to the side before raising one up into the air... rainbow magic starting to gather into a sphere held above her head, though on closer look, the rainbow magic seems to be from the air around her rather than from inside of her like normal magical energy gathering would usually be done from.

And that ball of magic over her head. Get's pretty massive pretty dang fast. Soon it's well... looks like it's as big as some massive big ball of glowly doom.

Which it basically is.*

*And then Vivio goes and pulls her fist back and punches the ball of magic and it turns into a massive beam that shoots out into the sky.*

-BREAKER!

*She stares, her eyes going a bit wide as she realizes that she managed to get it to work. Her face is completely lit up in a smile... before the beam slams into what looks to be the barrier that keeps people from flying out of the gardens... and manages to break through it for a moment, weird colors swirling out of the barrier. That... didn't look good. Maybe she should... run?

But no, the barrier closed pretty fast. And it wasn't like she meant to try to break the barrier so she wasn't going to have to worry about a wild card, right?

Well, Vivio's optimism was quickly broken as she shrunk back down to her kid form and noticed that she had something poking out of her head. Her hands moved up to her head and sighed as she felt ears at the top of her head. Cat ears, actually. And did she suddenly have a tail sticking out of her that she could wag? Yes, yes she did.*

... Okay. Never point magic at the sky again, I get it.

That's understandable. I mean, if you don't use a certain type of magic, it'd be a bit harder to understand how it works and what it can do.

I've seen them in action fairly regularly, yes.

Largely Time Magicks, as many of those sorts of mages were in the employ of the Church. When brought to Zeltennia, I saw many more Black Mages as well, who had come under employ of that state due to the war.

What do Time Magic and Black Magic do? I mean, does Time Magic let you go back in time, or what?

Time Magicks allow for the altering of time in small contexts. They can hasten or slow a persons movement, or stop them entirely. They also have some control over space, allowing shifts in gravity where needed.

Black Magicks use the power of the elements to unleash harm upon foes. There are no real positive benefits to it... but in war, they are sadly necessary.

That's pretty cool... though I guess there's nothing that lets someone go back in time, is there?

*She nods at that.*

Yeah. A lot of the times there's... not that much positive stuff to attack spells, other than being able to fight against someone who wants to hurt those you care about.

I never cared for them, personally.

Well, there's nothing wrong with being able to use spells like that, but I don't like when I need to use them.

I've no desire to learn them. I am no soldier.

Yeah. If you don't like fighting at all, or at least practicing how to do it, I can see why learning those types of magic isn't fun.

I've a distaste for violence in general...

Yeah. I can see why that would make you not want to learn any of that stuff at all.

My knight's duty is to keep me from it. Her blade is sharp so that mine does not need to be.

I think so? I think that's what she said her name was anyway.

We didn't really talk all that much though.

Yeah, she really seemed like it! I should talk to her again sometime!
