[The little girl in the mirror's looking rather peeved about something, and she's not going to waster any time in telling you what it is. She takes in a deep breath, and then says the following at ear-splitting volume:]

Quit writin' shit down! We've all got this fancy pymaric what lets us talk like real people from a long way away! Why the hell would you use it to send words on paper? That's like buyin' a fancy plod to carry yer handbag!

[Yeah she's a bit annoyed by all the written missives lately, since she's completely illiterate.]

[Sette takes a couple cautious sniffs before approaching the treehouse. It seemed Foonna had been telling the truth; none of that distinctive scent. She approaches and climbs up, knocking semi-politely]

[She climbs in, dusting off her knees.]

The hell's pancakes?

What? Are you serious? Pfft, better make it for you. You eat eggs?

Uh, yeah. Pigeon or blackbird?

[When Sette had eggs, it was because she went raiding nests on rooftops.]

First time for everything!

I guess. So, what the hell's a pam-cake?

Pan. You make it with mix, eggs, milk, oil and junk. It's kinda like a cake, only without frosting and syrup and butter instead. It tastes pretty good!

[This food sounded kinda sketchy to her.]

It's pretty good, trust me! You'll like it! Oh, and I can maybe cook some eggs by themselves. How do you want 'em?

Yeah! Scramble, Sunny side up, over easy...which kind do ya want?

[Cooking was a practical skill. Sette scrambled to find something to sit on so she could see the stovetop.]

[fionna_time]

[Fionna was busy at her work, mixing the eggs in a bowl before setting it in the sprayed pan, adding some shredded cheese, pepper and a little bit of ilk before she started on blending it in and mixing it around.]

This is how I do it, but you can put your own junk in it too to make it good!

[Sette was looking a bit unsure. So far this just looked like a liquids mess to her.]

[Well it was starting to be less liquid and become scrambled eggs. Fionna smiled, finishing up the eggs, and starting to finish up the food.]

[Did she just say fruit? Sette's ears perk right up at that.]

[Oh, cool, finally something she liked!]

What kind do you like?

[Sette greedily grabs at any and all strawberries or other red berries Fionna has. She likes 'em because the red they leave behind kinda looks like blood.]

[As it would turn out Fionna has LOTS of red fruit: she does live with a vampire who sucks out red, after all].
