*Kanako is skipping in field field of flowers, with a look of pure bliss on her face. She doesn't look like a person that trapped in a world that she doesn't know with no means of escape.*

Oh, thank you mother in heaven! Oh thank you God! Oh thank you Queen of Hearts! I have never been so happy in all my life, and it's all thanks to being in the gardens!

*She falls onto her back, and starts rolling back and forth over the flowers, squealing with glee.*

Fionna laughed. "Now you're making fun of me Kanako! You know we don't have TV here!"

"R-read a book then?"

Fionna made a face. "Kanako, you two are not gonna be reading a book together, come on."

"I-it's embarrassing to talk about..."

[fionna_time]

Fionna was quiet a moment. Kanako did look embarrassed, and while she didn't like being lied to, if Kanako felt uncomfortable...

"How come?"

Kanako blushed more. "B-because. I don't want to... freak you out."

[fionna_time]

Fionna thought about this a moment. She vaguely remembered what Marceline had said about Kananko, something she brushed aside until now, not thinking it could be true. So maybe, maybe it was. But looking at Kanako, seeing how she was so tight lipped, made her wonder if she still didn't need a friend, at least someone to still be buds with and laugh with.

"I don;t freak out easy dude."

Kanako looks at Fionna. "Y-you won't run away?"

[fionna_time]

Fionna gave her friend a reassuring pat. "I don't run away unless I have no choice."

And that was the truest she was about something she didn't like about herself.

Thought for a moment. She then gave Fionna a pat on the head.

"Thank you, maybe one day I'll tell you. I'm just not ready yet."

Fionna frowned, not sure what she thought about her head being patted like she was a kid, but maybe it was for the best?

"OK Kanako. I guess if you're not ready to talk about that its cool. I'm sure you and Suraga will find plenty to do though."
