[Grell is outside, and she looks more serious than usual. Those who know her well might note how she's dressed down with her hair tied back.]

I know some of you are fighters. And I've shamefully let myself go in terms of keeping myself in top condition. I ask, therefore, that anyone who would like a spar come see me, at this place close to Beaumont.

No weapons, as we shouldn't be killing anyone today. Just hand to hand combat. And don't expect me to hold back, nor should you restrain yourself. Too much tension gives your face lines. [Just teasing on that point, but she means what she said about not holding back.]

[She's been bored, is the reason she asked for this. Gossip only went so far, and the tension built and built and she knew if she didn't find a way to get it out, someone would die. Oh, how she wants someone to die by her hand, how she wants to hear the screams, see the blood and pain, create thaat work of art. But she's been behaving, as annoying as that is, and so far her reputation's been secure.

Thus, the request. If she can't kill someone, at least she can do her best to fight them, and hopefully some of that bloodlust would be siphoned off. Who would show up? She had no clue.]

[Gavril, her base slightly more solid now that she was closer to the ground, attempted to catch the red-haired woman's leg and drive her long, claw-like, finger nails into her skin.]

[They catch, and for a second Grell's off balance, but her look of surprise quickly morphs into a smile as she darts back to yank her leg out of Gavril's grip. That stung, you know.]

[As Grell attempts to free herself from Gavril's grasp, the zombie-girl capitalizes on the moment by throwing a quick punch with her free arm aimed directly at her opponent's core.]

[It connects, and it forces Grell back a bit, but she's not going to let it slow her. Instead, she reaches out to take hold of Gavril's shoulder, intent on pulling her closer so she could knee her in the stomach.]

[Gavril does her best to dodge the blow by back peddling a bit. The timer on her defensive transformation would soon wind to zero, leaving her vulnerable until she could do once more wind the dial on the side of her head.]

[That gives Grell enough time to move her arms to protect her core from a follow up before running at Gavril again, kicking out at her side.]

[Gavril takes the kick directly, having been unable to move move her body into a position to block the attack.]

[Good, it connected. Still, she wasn't going to rule out the possibility of a counterattack, and punched out at Gavril's face.]
