-The vine finds our winged girl in the kitchens at her residence near the Arena. She's got with her a whole counter full of ingredients.-

You know, it's come to my attention that a lot of people here in the Gardens don't actually know how to cook. I think I'm going to do my part to help with that! Today, I want to teach everyone how to make a speciality of mine, one of the first dishes I ever learned to prepare. It's pretty easy, too! It's called potato salad!

-INSERT FAIRLY SIMPLE RECIPE HERE. She demonstrates every last step as well, happily singing to herself inbetween steps. Seriously, it's like she's out of a disney movie. If disney princesses wore sailor suits.-

I know many, actually! Ms. Leap had several recipe books back on the Mayship that I read... and memorized.

Do you enjoy cooking?

Oh yes, definitely. Cooking for the Mayship was a wonderful experience... if at times difficult. So many picky eaters...

And you didn't make them simply eat what was available?

Getting supplies wasn't a problem. But Ms. Leap is actually not as good a cook as one would thing. I started doing the cooking because... Well, I could memorize the recipe books. It's odd... I think it may be related to my Gear powers, but I'm not sure.

-Ky has, after all, seen the way she goes through books.-

It's something different to be able to read a book and to be able to turn it into good food. It's still impressive.

-Not that Ky has tasted the potato salad Dizzy has made, or much else, but she has confidence in her.-

Oh! Speaking of, I spoke to Sol, and we're having pizza for dinner tonight, if that's alright with you!

Of course that's alright.

-Oh, wait, she gets it now.-

If that's intended as some sort of invitation, I don't believe that Sol much wishes to see me.

-Being trapped together as long as they were had been plenty long for both of them, Ky was quite certain.-

... You won't even have dinner together?

I'm sure that we could.

-It's a different matter as to whether or not it would be a good idea-

I don't wish to simply show up when she's not expecting me, however.

... I wish you two would get along better... I don't get to see you as often because of it, I think...

If both you and Sol want to have me over for dinner then I'd like to see you, but I don't wish to simply drop by without warning.

I do... you're both family to me. It would make me happy to, well... do family things. Together.

-Family things? Ky wonders how much of that Sol will put up. Ky's sure she can manage at least that much...although out of a desire to be accommodating, rather than inertia.-
