-The vine picks up a girl laying among the flowers. The scroll has been left somewhere beside her, and seems untouched. Furthermore, the position she is in seems hardly natural. Not like someone resting, but rather... she had fallen there. And, in fact, the more one looks at her, the more it appears she's not alive at all... At least for a few moments before her chest starts to move.

With a loud gasp and cry, she sits up, clutching at the space just below her ribs but above her stomach. She breathes heavily, a look of complete shock in her eyes.-

I'm... alive? But how... No wound remains, either... Not even a cut in my gown...

... These are not the ruins... Could it be God has delivered me unto heaven? Impossible... I deserve no such grace...

-She quickly moves to her feet, looking around. She is seemingly completely unaware she's being recorded.-

[Her head is ringing. There's a chance she's talking to herself, or some kind of hallucination, but on the chance it isn't...

Her ears flick a bit, rubbing her eyes, sword clenched hard just in case.]

To your right! Be careful, I know not where we are nor if anything still stalks us!

-She didn't have to be told twice. Ovelia immediately rushed in the direction of the voice, tears already streaking down her face. How could this place not be heaven if Agrias was there? She had thought she'd never see her knight again...-

[The knight takes but a moment to rub her eyes and head, clearing her vision and looking forward, a look of genuine surprise spreading over her.]

M-Milady? Are you hurt? I know not how we came to cross paths again, but rest assured, I have you safe with me now that we have. Is anything following you?

-Those were all probably questions she should have answered. But the very event of seeing Agrias again, of hearing her voice, of being in her presence... it overwhelmed her. She wrapped her arms about the woman, holding her close as she wept openly into her chest.-

[At that instant, Agrias drops her sword to the ground, wrapping her arms back around Ovelia and placing a hand on her hair, tight and warm.]

It is you. You are here, with me, again, milady. Last I heard, we were so far apart, I feared I may not see you again as I traversed underground. How glad I am to see you back to me...

-A fear they obviously had shared.-

[She holds on, trying not to waver, regaining her senses as she talks, head pounding still.]

You did what you thought was best. Your command is one I will trust now and forever. You did not wrong, Milady.

I did! I was a fool to put faith in that man! -More tears...-

You... Ramza... All of us... We were all just pawns to him...

Pray tell, Princess, did something happen? I had not heard word in a while, but where I was, it would be hard to. We found out harsh truths ourselves, and had to clean up their messes for them. It was the only way I could be sure I could ensure a future for you....for us.

[She takes a finger and gently wiped at Ovelia's eyes, looking at her curiously, a bit worried.]

[Agrias just holds her, shhing her softly, thumbing her hair and being as warm and steady as can be.]

It can wait, then, until you are calm and ready. For now, just let it all out. I do not know if this land we are in now is hostile, but the spot we are in now holds no ill will to us.

-Safe... Yes. She was safe. Agrias made her feel completely at ease, even through the torrid emotions that still hung from her heart.-

[Here, have a gentle hair ruffling as she looks herself over, not mentioning what she was just up to, either. A quick pat over assures her she is quite alive and just somewhat sore from fighting.]
