[For a moment, the recording seems completely silent. Maybe someone accidentally activated the Vine before walking away?

But no. Anyone paying close attention might pick up on the sound of panicked breathing.]

W... Wh... Wh... [The owner of the voice is obviously having a hard time, and stutters a few more times before she's able to actually spit anything out.] W-W-Where... am I...? This place... I don't...

[A dream. It has to be a dream. But no... she pinched herself, and it definitely hurt. So it was real? But how did she get here? A million questions were running through her mind - already reeling - and just kept adding to her panic.]

L... Lilly...?

Hello, there. Are you alright? [a newcomer...]

[There's a surprised yelp - probably from the mirror suddenly appearing in front of the girl. That really doesn't seem to help.]

I... I don't... [More stuttering. It's obvious that she's extremely Not Okay, if the fact that she can't even finish a sentence is anything to go off of.]

[hm... she can't see the face, but she can hear some panic. England obviously knows she is not okay]

Please calm down... Or rather, if you cannot calm down, just take some deep breaths.

I... I... [She's trying, she really is. her deep, shaky breaths can easily be heard, but they're still somewhat erratic.] But I... I don't know where I am...

[she's trying to be gentle] I understand, miss. You've been brought here from your world. It is called the Garden.

My world...? Garden? I... I don't know w-what you're talking about...

This place here is called the Garden. You were taken from... Hm. The place that you live. By the Queen here. Without any warning.

A... A queen? But w-why...

[She's read about queens kidnapping people in stories, of course. But... that's all they are. Stories. And she's just a regular high school student. There's no reason behind kidnapping her.]

There's really no other reason other than the Queen wants to play with our feelings...

[she nods, whether the other girl can see her or not]

Indeed it is. And it's happened to every single girl here. Some of them have been here for weeks, months, even over a year.

A year... [That. That's not good news.] H-Have you been here that long...?

Not I. But my friend [lover] has. I have only been here since... Oh, I don't know. Five months, or so. Not nearly as long as several of my colleagues.

[Hanako's hoping she's not stuck here that long. She's having a hard time after only a short while, but that long...]

[she suddenly grins] Magic.

[That grin is a little intimidating, but there's definitely a hint of almost childlike curiosity in Hanako's voice now.]

... You... can use magic? Real magic...?

[oh! a smile! England's expression softens]

Indeed. I have the same magic as I did back in my world, here. I am trying to learn more about this world so hopefully, I can counter the Queen's magic.

That... that sounds really cool. [For someone who has read countless fantasy, sci-fi, and other such books since she was little, meeting someone who has nifty magical abilities is pretty neat!]
